The space
Historic Luxury House in the Heart of Meteora is exactly what its name suggests: traditional on the outside and luxurious on the inside, it is located in the very heart of the picturesque old town of Kalampaka, one of the area’s most historic and architecturally eclectic neighborhoods, where modern meets tradition, right under the giant holy rocks of Meteora that have been protecting the town for millions of years. Pull back the curtains after a long, tiring day of exploration and let the lights of Meteora flood into the house. You’ll be close enough to experience how it feels like to live under the wings of the rocks and explore the many footpaths that lead to the top of Meteora where the monasteries are built, but, at the same time, you’ll also be close enough to the centre of the town and all its modern amenities. This newly-refurbished, sunny-drenched 100sqm duplex apartment, which makes excellent use of the space with a calming neutral palette and sleek finished floors alongside thoughtful details, is suitable for families and groups of friends.

- Ground Floor
The Ground Floor consists of two big bedrooms (or as we call them, the Brown Room and the Red Room). The Brown Room comes with a double bed and lovely neutral-colored tapestries, a hanger to store your clothes and a window that allows the bright Greek sun to enter the house. The Red Room has a double-bed, as well as a baby cot, neutral tapestries and a hanger. The balcony door leads to a small green oasis – the perfect spot to rest your eye! There is also a bathroom, with a shower cabin. The staircase that leads all the way up to the First Floor is safely protected with railings. The communal space that is offered is ideal for children.
- First Floor
The living room on the First Floor comes with a comfy, convertible corner sofa and a fireplace that will warm the coldest winter nights, while you’re relaxing watching TV. The kitchen is fully-equipped, has a standard oven, as well as a microwave oven, refrigerator, coffee machine and kettle. There is a dining table, accompanied by four chairs. There is also a third spacious bedroom, the Pink Room, which is ideal for romantic souls. It has a double-bed, which is surrounded by an atmospheric tulle-made screen, and flowery tapestries. There is also a balcony that offers magnificent view of the rocks – make a cup of coffee and enjoy thisunique sight! On this floor, there is a second bathroom, with a shower cabin. A special feature of the First Floor is the ‘Observatory Room’, or else, the Reading Space – just take your favorite book, sit comfortably on the armchair and enjoy some intellectual time, right under the rocks! A second communal space will allow your children to spend their leisure time joyfully.

The house is heated through central heating system. There is also air-conditioning in the Pink Room, as well as the Communal Area on the First Floor that distributes the air evenly and cools the entire house on summer nights

-Wheelchair Accessibility:
The Ground Floor is wheelchair accessible, as there are no stairs in the main entrance of the house.
- If you visit our town with your own car, parking in the area is safe, free and easy. You can also reach the local bus station, as well as the train station, very easily – you need no more than 10 mins on foot. Access to Trikala and other major cities of the area is easy and there are regular bus and train routes connecting Kalampaka to Athens and Thessaloniki. You can also call a taxi and it will come to your door in no more than 5 mins.

Other things to note
The house is located in the centre of the old town of Kalampaka, in a very peaceful and safe neighborhood. Stroll around the paved streets of the old town and let the magical aura of the place embrace you. At the same time, you can easily visit all the landmarks of the area on foot, as its strategic position allows you to reach easily and quickly the most attractive places of the city – you can catch the bus to Meteora and the monasteries from the nearby bus station which lies just 10 mins from the property. Grab the chance to explore the most popular attractions of the town – The Hellenic Culture Museum, The Natural History Museum of Meteora & Mushroom Museum and The Digital Projection Centre of Meteora’s History and Culture, all of which are located no more than 10
mins from the house.
