This was our second stay at this cabin, it’s spacious and comfortable.. it has everything you need for cooking, relaxing, and hanging out with friends and family.

Spring Break Getaway

The house location is amazing with views galore, lots of space and everything you need for a getaway. Spa was amazing under the trees and sky. We are coming back for sure.

Reeks of cigarette smoke

While the property is in a nice location, it reeks of cigarette smoke. So much so that we woke up with scratchy throats and our clothes smelled of cigarettes after staying there. In addition to this, VRBO doesn't manage this property so the check in and payment processes are convoluted, poorly communicated, and involve driving to/from the property managers offices and several phone calls.

Hello Albert, Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We are very sad and disappointed in the home smelling like cigarettes. As you probably read this is against our rules. We will make sure to relay your message to the cleaning staff so they can let us know and we can hold deposits. We did enter a task after your report and had the home air out. The city does require that we must meet face to face. Otherwise, both parties the host and the guest could face a fine. We apologize for the inconvenience. We have prepared our booking department to make your check-in as fast as possible so you can enjoy every second of your vacation. We value your time and hope you stay with us again soon! birthday trip

Upon arrival we were not able to enter the property, the entire driveway was filled with days of snow. we called management and were told we will have to shovel it ourselves. we went down to the office someone helped out and sent a snowplow out. we paid for the spa to be heated no one never came out to fix it. There was no hot water for over 24 hours, when they did come to fix it , it never lasted long enough for our group to take a hot shower. They barely answered the phone down in the office. people in the office were portraying to be the manager and they in fact were not. we were monetarily compensated for the issues., but we only wish these were not issues it would have made our trip more enjoyable.

Cute & cozy

The house was perfect for our family of 6. The pictures make it look larger than it is, so kitchen area limited to two at a time, but at the same time, cozy enough for us all to be together. Disappointed the spa didn’t heat up enough to get in as it was one of the reasons we were excited about being here.

Destination Big Bear supplies bath towels, bed linens, toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, cleaning sponge, and minimal cleaning supplies. We do not supply shampoo, conditioner or shower soap.
