Spa was not working

Wasn't informed that spa was out of order until after checking in. Primary reason for paying a higher price for a place was due to spa. Was given only a nominal nightly adjustment. Price is a little on the high side. Otherwise nice quiet area with good mountain views.

Super comfy stay at the Banquet house

This is our second stay at the Banquet House and it always delivers. It’s the perfect distance from town with all the right amenities and the decor sets the mood for your river adventures. We especially appreciate the poker set and the electric horse riding machine.

Great Space, Property, & Location

We all loved this cabin! The space and layout is great, and felt spacious. It was very generously equipped with everything we needed. The large front balcony and the views from there was my favorite feature. You can turn all the lights off and enjoy the stars at night from there too! The host was very responsive and extremely accommodating. She even let us make last minute changes to the reservation without penalizing us. Very much appreciated.

Weekend getaway

Great location, very comfy house and quiet. House was very clean upon arrival. Not too far away from the town to enjoy the river and dining. Will definitely be coming back.

Great house super close to the Kern river!

This property is amazing. I came with my mother and 2 sons (18 and 13) and we had a amazing time! The pictures DEFINITELY don't do this house any justice. It's absolutely beautiful. Communication was wonderful and the host answered quickly if I had any questions and recommended a few things to do in the area even! My son loved to play poker on the poker table and hang out in the hot tub! The kitchen was wonderfully stocked with everything. The outside swings and handle bars were a nice touch also! Loved the decor of the house! Loved everything about this place! Thanks for allowing us to use your house! It was wonderful! We want to come back and camp! 😍🌲

Kern River Banquet House

This house was so comfortable and fun to stay at. Location is great, close enough to town, yet removed enough to be quiet and relaxing. This place was perfect for a weekend getaway. Communication with the host was also a breeze. 10/10 would stay here again.

Rafting trip

House stay was awesome. The photos in listing don't due it justice. The house was much nicer than it appears in photos and the owner of the home was easy to contact throughout our stay.

A beautiful get away in California

This property was great. It had everything we needed with the most breathtaking views. I came here with my wife for her birthday with some friends. We went rafting down the Kern river(still sunburnt) and hiked the trail of 100 giants. The house was very clean, the kitchen gave me feelings of nostalgia. The house was nicely decorated in John Wayne and coors decor. I would love to know the story about the coors. The beds were extremely comfortable. I seriously had not slept that well in a long time. Overall the jacuzzi was the cherry on top. It was already heated when we arrived and we enjoyed ourselves throughly. I gave the neighborhood a 3 out of 5 stars. A few people we met in the small community made it clear they not fans of visitors. We did our best to respect each others boundary's and not try to piss any one off. The saloon is a great bar just a short walk from the house. We had a great night doing karaoke and celebrated my wife's birthday accordingly. I would highly recommend this stay, the house was perfect and the wifi was fast. Everything you need and more for a nice weekend getaway.

Great stay in Kernville

We really enjoyed our stay at the Kernville house. Great location, very comfy and spacious, multiple decks with views. Loved the coffee, water, and 6 pack of coors banquet beer that was provided. The Americana decor was cool and made the house special. Host was responsive and helpful, we'll definitely be back, thanks again!
