Modern apartment in Siglufjörður with amazing mountain view

Our apartment is centrally located in Siglufjordur, north of Iceland. Siglufjörður or Sigló like the locals call it is the northernmost town on the mainland of Iceland, surrounded by dramatic mountains and beautiful nature.
In Siglufjörður there is a flourishing cultural life. There are several restaurants, there are also numerous galleries and workshops, museums and our local church.

During wintertime / spring you can enjoy the ski area in town, downhill or cross country.
The mountains in the area are a paradise for backcountry/ski touring. Standing on top of a snow covered mountain overlooking the Atlantic ocean is an experience you won't forget. The snow reaches all the way down to the beach.

Heli skiing is also very popular in Siglo and if you are interested we arrange Heli skiing with a guide.

During summer time we you can play golf at the Sigló Golf course, 9 hole course, we have a beginner golf set at the apartment that you are welcome to use. There are many hiking trails and if you are up to it.

Our apartment is on the 1st floor in a building called Gagginn and has two bedrooms. The main bedroom has King Size bed (180x200 cm) and single bed (90x200cm) , second bedroom has single bed (90x200 cm) and Bunk bed ( Upper level Double bed (140x200cm) and Lower level Double Bed (140x200cm). In the living room we have nice sleeping sofa that turns into Double bed (140x200cm). In the bathroom we have a nice shower and a washing machine/dryer. There’s an airy and bright open-space kitchen/living room with very high ceiling (3.7 m) which is unusual in Iceland. The kitchen is fully equipped with 3 kinds of coffee machines (Nespresso, Dolce Gusto and brewing machine) and a variety of tea. In the living room we have 4K TV, sound system and Apple TV and there’s a balcony where you have great view over the fjord and part of the town. In summer we have a BBQ grill on the balcony

The nearest airport is Akureyri Airport, 67km from the apartment.

We have a baby crib and a highchair if needed.

We provide linen, towels, and soap etc.

We manage over 150 properties in Iceland, most of them in Reykjavik area and a few outside of Reykjavik. Please let us know if you would like to split your stay, some nights in Reykjavik and some outside of Reykjavik. We also offer long term rent.
