A really lovely old farmhouse, sympathetically converted, retaining the best of the old features with nice modern touches such as the bathrooms. Clean, cool and spacious, it had all the facilities and items that we needed for a long holiday stay.Pool was great, clean and cool in the heat, close by the house. Good news was that were few insects and mosquitoes by the pool and none in the house, which was a relief.Hosts were great, very friendly and available, no problems,Village was nearby, walkable in a few minutes, with the basics, small but excellent supermarket, bar/restaurant and bakery (of which opening times were a bit more occasional than it's declared days/times, no idea why). Surrounding villages and towns had plenty of restaurants, pizzeria and gelateria so all major food groups sorted, and we were in the middle of a vineyard who offered us a tasting session for their excellent wines.The only thing I would ask is for a curtain or blind in the downstairs toilet/shower room, no poor passer-by needs to see me in the morning!
