Our spacious first floor condo is located at Brunswick Golf Resort in Calabash, NC. "The Villa" has two separate one bedroom units that (sleeps 8). We recently did renovations and updated the condo to have a more modern look.

It offers bright, open rooms with updated features and comfortable furnishings. This condo has two double size beds in each room, a walk-in closet and bathroom.

Each bedroom has its own unique look. The larger unit has 2 full-size beds, kitchen, dining area and living room. The second bedroom unit is a smaller lock-out unit with the essentials of a hotel and includes two full beds, 4pc dinette, bath room, kitchenette with microwave and a full size jacuzzi to relax in after a long day of golf or fishing.

Our NC Condo is in a great location close by Sunset Beach, and Ocean Isles Beach, just a few minutes away. If that isn't enough for you beach lovers, North Myrtle Beach is less than 20 minutes away.

There is a 55 inch flat TV and in the living room. Unit also has 42 in and 32 in flat TVs that can be found in the bedrooms. The kitchen is open, spacious and well stocked with cooking wares, as well as a blender, a toaster, a coffee maker, etc. Washer and dryer, iron and ironing board, and hair dryers are all provided. The condo has WIFI service. This unit has a 4 night minimum stay policy. But we would love for you to book longer.

The Brunswick Community offers a beautiful outdoor pool that opens 4/08/22. It has has indoor swimming pool, an indoor hot tub and an exercise room, outside grills. You can relax and enjoy the quiet community, yet you are only a short drive away from all the excitement Calabash NC has to offer.

There are several golf courses onsite including the Dogwood, Azalea, or the Magnolia courses. This unit is located on the Magnolia course and has a great rear view of the 8th hole.

The Intercostal waterway is just a short miles away. The famed seafood capital Calabash is only a short drive and a further 10 miles south one finds all the shopping, restaurants and entertainment of Myrtle Beach.

Lisa rocked, everything went smooth, she fast responses, her communication was on point, made sure we was comfortable the entire trip. I Would definitely recommend her place to anyone!

Not Clean

We arrived to find a dirty and smelly condo. There was big pieces of dirt on the carpets and floors, dead bugs in the showers and tub, and hairs on the pillowcases (which smelled fresh enough so weird). There was a used (we presume, it was inside out) bathrobe on the back door hook of the second bathroom. In that bathroom, the bath rug reeked of dog urine, a smell that also arose in other carpeted areas of the condo. The kitchen, thankfully, was clean. I did not report these issues immediately to Lisa the owner because (a) we were there to move my parents into assisted living and had only three days to pack them all up, so working 12-hour days and crashing after them, and (b) I recalled seeing similar issues in another review--which I wish I had not ignored--and figured it might not be much use calling her as dirt seems to be the status quo. When I did write to ask for a bit of a refund as we were checking out, she said that if I had written the first day she could have had her "management team" deal with the problem and now it was too late. Of course, the time to have them deal with the problem was BEFORE we arrived. I suspect some of the problem (e.g., dead bugs) was likely because the place had sat a while between guests. But others were inexplicable and just plain disgusting. We will not stay here again.

Excellent stay

We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves at this property. We felt safe in the gates community and everything was clean. The only thing missing for me was the indoor pool and hot tub that was still closed.

Great location if you want to enjoy beautiful beaches and attractions nearby (15 to 25min) without having the noise and crowds of other beach locations.

Review

Lisa did a wonderful job providing the condo with extra little touches. I brought along my own paper towels , hand soap, coffee, trash bags, etc... and she had it all. Dog biscuits were even provided. Thank you for a great spot to spend our spring break.
