Great place to gather and entertain!

We enjoyed our stay in this super convenient location. Friends were able to visit and it was a wonderful place to gather and entertain. Owner was extremely accommodating with check in and check out. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others. Five stars!

Perfect base for exploring and events

Thoughtfully restored "Old home" in downtown Northport. Within walking distance to quaint shops, the quintessential meat and three City Cafe, and The Kentucky Art Center. The University of Alabama is just a short few minutes drive away. We definitely enjoyed our stay and found the home met all our needs. I was a bit concerned about being so close to the train tracks but no one in my party heard the train once in bed. The front and back porches were definitely a bonus.

Owner canceled at the last minute

I was on the plane waiting to take off for Alabama when the owner called to tell me that he had double booked the property and I could no longer stay there. Other than refunding the cost of accommodation, he provided no other compensation.

Can we give more than 5 stars?!

If your travels take you to Tuscaloosa, look no further. Gordon has created an incredible retreat conveniently located to UA and the wonderful little downtown of Northport. It is easily walkable to the downtown with it’s quaint shops and restaurants. The space is thoughtfully well designed and incredibly well provisioned with everything you need. The high ceilings, ship-lapped walls, and beautifully remodeled kitchen, bathrooms, and living area make for the perfect space to enjoy a relaxing afternoon or prepare for game day. UA is a quick and easy drive and the property offers plentiful off-street parking, wonderful porches, and a fire pit area. Thank you for sharing your incredible vacation rental…we hope to visit again soon!

PERFECTION

First time to the area and don’t think I will ever stay anywhere else’s. The property is adorable, comfortable, and clean! Our host was spectacular and the location cannot be beat. Great food and shopping within walking distance.

Graduation Visit

My daughter graduated, so we needed a place to stay. This property is exceptional. We absolutely loved it. The pictures don’t do the house justice. The owner is the epitome of Southern hospitality.
