Come stay at The Ava House!
We offer a cozy, quiet, private get away. With everything you need to feel cozy and right at home ❤️

The house sits on a 1 acre lot just right outside the City limits. You have access to the whole house with exception of the downstairs supply / office area.
2 Bedrooms, 1 Bath single level home, though there are stairs to enter the house.
Comfortable Beds, Fluffy towels, spacious bathroom and kitchen
Full Kitchen amenities! We now have a full sized Stove/Oven, as well as Microwave, full size fridge and dining table. Card Games. Wifi. Cable. Smart TV. Great views. Comfy furniture. Extra cozy blankets

Perfect Out of The Way Spot
Not that Ava is a busy area but the location of this property as described and on the edge of town. Our stay was very quiet and full of nature. We saw deer each day in the field across the road and the neighbors yard and there was a bunch of squirrels in the tree next to the house. Very peaceful to sit and watch them with my morning coffee. The home is perfect for a couple days or longer. I cannot think of anything they did not accommodate for. Hulu for streaming entertainment. We loved it and will be back every time we are in the area to visit family.

The view was amazing
Just out of town with an amazing view. It wasn’t quite ready when we got there, the host was still cleaning. Which was kinda awkward but she was very apologetic about it and made a trip back to bring us sheets for an air mattress. Overall a decent stay.

Our tv wasn’t working and Faron came and looked at it and replaced it right away. We are returning thanksgiving week, I need to do some of thanksgiving dinner and would appreciate a clean oven. It it messy looking right now and I didn’t cook there this time. I noticed its supply of pots n pans are very limited. Other than that it was fine. Thank you

House is very cozy. I loved that the owners had ice in freezer for us, all towels, toilet paper, paper towels, coffee for keurig maker. I had problems with fridge and she was quick to help on the day of Thanksgiving. I will definitely stay there again when visiting family. So much nicer and no comparison than the disgusting Super 8 in town.

Beautiful View of the Mountains
We had a wonderful time at this little mountain cabin. Our favorite part was rocking on the front porch and drinking coffee...it was comfortable, safe, clean and close to everything. We will be back.

Cute little place. Was perfect for what we needed. We rode at SMORR for 2 days so it was a good place to come back to late to eat and sleep. Thanks for the hospitality!

Peaceful Retreat
What a quiet and relaxing place to stay! We loved the sunrises over the trees from the front porch. The kitchen was decently stocked with mismatched dishes and utensils- which fit the casual country ambiance perfectly and was completely functional. Farron and Nacole were great hosts. When I mentioned that I did not see a spatula/scraper, they delivered one to the house straightway! Note that the tub/shower only functions as a shower, but not as a tub for baths- unless we just couldn't figure out how to make it work. Although we typically only stay at places with king beds (I'm 6'4"), we made do with the queen beds- which were very comfortable. We would definitely consider staying here again!

This little farm house is so charming and comfortable. Bring your clothes, food and toiletries, everything else is there waiting for you. Nice one acre lot for the kids to play in. Perfect for our family of 3 adults and 3 kids. Looking forward to next year!!

Comfortable Country Getaway
This rental has a serene country setting with plenty of space for our family of four. We were able to let ourselves in, and found everything we needed for a comfortable stay. When we were short on dish towels, they were promptly delivered. Amazing hospitality! There is not much to do in the local area, but we were looking for down time so that was okay with us.

I've owned the Ava House since 2008
It was always the idea to fix the old house up. This is the original Farm house to the area land you see around you.
Over the years we have slowly remodeled the house and we still have a few things before we are complete!
It's a continuous work in progress.
In 2019 we set out on our journey of offering The Ava House as a vacation rental for area travelers and we have loved it!
We live about 20 miles West of Ava on a Cattle Farm. If you need us we can be there fairly quick.
While we are new to VRBO we have gained much attention on other sites and maintained a high customer satisfaction rating.
We can't wait to show you why The Ava House is the best place to stay in the area!
