Blue Moon Carriage House

BLUE MOON IN THE HEART OF THE PIER!
This property is perfect for any family vacation or getaway weekend! Open the windows and listen to the surf!
Originally built as a barn in 1900, our carriage house has been beautifully renovated into a spacious air conditioned unit with a full kitchen, 2 bedrooms and 1 full bathroom.
The living and dining areas feature gleaming hickory floors and allow for dining, playing games, relaxing or watching a movie. A private deck located off the living area has plenty of seating and gas grill.
Carriage house also includes 4 transferable beach passes ($40/day value), a fully stocked beach closet with all NEW towels; beach chairs, toys, umbrella; and beach wagon. Sorry, no pets.
Located a short walk from beautiful Narragansett Town Beach, the famous Sea Wall and the Historic Pier, you will have many activities steps away without having to pile in the car.
Another day, you could take the high speed ferry to Block Island for a different seaside adventure. Drive over to Jamestown or Newport for additional sailing, dining, polo, or beaches. See the attached Boston Globe article naming Narragansett RI #1 best beach town in New England! .

Wonderful place

We really enjoyed our stay. The place is beautiful and in a great location. Having beach chairs, umbrellas and passes included made the stay much easier. We also appreciated all the seating space and having a high chair.

URI Grad Weekend

I stayed in town for a few days to attend a wedding. The accommodation was clean and quiet, and the host was readily available for any needs. I would definitely return.

Fabulous Beach getaway

Great stay! Great location - walking distance to beach and restaurants. There was a nice bike path rideable from the house too. The place was immaculately clean with everything you need including beach gear. Easy to communicate with good local knowledge and tips for a great stay. I would highly recommend !

Great family vacation

We had a wonderful stay at the Blue Moon Carriage House. It is in a great location within walking distance to the beach and many restaurants. It is thoughtfully appointed with everything we needed (beach gear, beach towels, etc) and the host was readily available and checked to make sure everything was okay and we had what we needed. Thank you again for a wonderful stay!

Wonderful place

This space is very well kept and clean. Overall very comfortable with attention to details. Highly recommend this spot if you are looking for a a short walk to the pier/beach/restaurants. It is a shared property with lots of privacy and space.

Wonderful location and clean property

The location was good for walking and driving to places of interest. Layout of floorplan, cleanliness, and stocking of the rental were all top notch. Parking accomodated full size vehicle with no issues. Communication with owner was seamless. We do plan on re-renting.

Home away from home

Diane and Paul were fantastic hosts, with great support and guidance throughout the trip. The carriage house is on their property but you never felt any lack of privacy. We had the pleasure of interacting with Diane and her family as we’d come and go. The location is fantastic, short walk to many shops,coffee, and the ocean. The property itself is gorgeous! Open layout, comfortable decor with a beach vibe. The kitchen is well stocked, and little helpful items in home to make your stay easier, from snacks to extra hair ties. We cannot say enough good things about this home and the hosts, we will see you again this summer.

Wonderful URI Parent Move-In Experience

Stunning over-garage space! - Perfect for a small family. We booked this property to help move our daughter into her college apartment over LDW. Our teenage son planned to come but had other commitments last minute. However, he would have been more than comfortable in the 2nd bedroom. Crisp, beautifully appointed and private yet convenient to the beach and restaurants. The hosts were so generous and attentive we intend to book again when the need arises.

Terrific beach spot!

We had a terrific week at the carriage house. The location is really perfect: genuinely walkable to the beach and restaurants, and a five minute drive to the gourmet market, seafood shop and other essentials in Wakefield. Owners were friendly and accommodating. The condo is extremely clean and comfortable with all the beach vacation essentials - outdoor shower, deck with comfy chairs and big sky, private lawn perfect for a game of bean bags, an unusually good stock of tommy bahama beach gear and boogie boards, and even a few puzzles for a rainy day. Great property in all respects!

Super stay

Blue Moon Carriage House was just as described, clean, spacious and comfortably furnished, and walking distance to everything. My husband and I enjoyed Narragansett Beach and also explored some other nearby beaches -- all great to walk along towards the end of the beach day. We spent a morning in Newport and on a rainy day drove to see the Whaling Museum in New Bedford. Diane was very helpful, responding to a bunch of questions I had before our arrival about beaches, activities and restaurants, and also directing us to a great bicycling path right nearby. Altogether, excellent accommodations and a super time at the shore.

Beautifully renovated and decorated space - clean and comfortable! Outdoor shower was nice and small deck a bonus. Well stocked and perfect for our family of 5. Easy walk to the beach and restaurants (5-10 minutes). Host was responsive and friendly.

Great Place to Stay!

We recently stayed at the Carriage House in May because we were visiting the area for a wedding. Hotels in the area were expensive for what you get, so I was very pleased when I found this listing on Vrbo for a reasonable price and lots of space. I was even more blown away when I got there! The place is bright, well-decorated, comfortable, and conveniently located to everything in Naragansett. Our host was also incredibly helpful and accommodating. Next time we visit, we definitely hope to stay here again!
