The master suite is located on the main level with three additional bedrooms and two full bathrooms located on the lower level. LOCATION – Cucumber Patch is in the Shock Hill neighborhood which boasts its own gondola stop with easy access to the base of Peaks 7 & 8 as well as downtown. Immediate access to the Breckenridge Nordic ski trails and numerous hiking trails are located directly outside your door.

All Pinnacle properties are stocked with:

The kitchen was well equipped for all levels of entertaining (glassware, platters etc) The balcony overlooks a greenbelt and very private. The only downsides were the hot tub didn"t get over 99 and there was a hole in the ceiling from a dishwasher leak. We were informed at check in, but nothing was taken off of our stay. Just a bummer because we were in town for an engagement celebration. I would stay here again and thanks for having us!

After the property was sold and Pinnacle Lodging assumed the management, I have found the company to be attentive and very professional. The in-town location allows for greater customer service. Unlike many of the recently built properties on Shock Hill, 41 Cucumber Patch has some patina while still having been updated in significant ways. We have enjoyed longevity with this property and hope to continue to visit it in the future.

Great potential if service/maintenance issues are addressed
Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Location and size of home are good. However, there were multiple service/maintenance issues which should have been addressed, prior to our arrival, and were a hassle during our vacation. These included but were not limited to: Hot tub temperature issues and an unwillingness on the part of Pinnalce to properly resolve upon our first request (were were told to troubleshoot ourselves, and by near the end of our first week, only then, did Pinnacle Staff finally lift a finger to call the hot tub service company, and find out that the hot tub was put in “low temp lock mode”, as the home had not been occupied for some time. This should have been unlocked prior to our arrival and in proper working order to us to enjoy upon arrival. There is also no working ice maker in the kitchen freezer. We arrived to one tiny, empty 14-cube tray in the freezer drawer. Quite ridiculous given this is a home that sleeps 10 people! There were wooden blind trim pieces hanging loose just inside the entry. Drywall was significantly cracked around large, dirty wall vents. No ceiling fan in the Great Room made things very hot with windows open and our stay was during early June. Two of the four bathrooms were inadequately stocked with an initial supply of toilet paper; Kitchen had half a roll of thin paper towels w/ no spare. Had we not booked a 2-week consectuive stay and payed double the $$$$ cleaning fee, we would have bene provided cleaning in between each week if booking weeks back to back, individually. When requesting help from Pinnacle staff, we were sent a link to the local grocery store. For the thousands we spent to stay in the home, this was extremely unprofessional. When we asked for a call from Pinnacle Mgmt, we were told someone would call. No one ever called. Very disappointed.

We literally had every pot, pan, cooking utensil, grill accessory that you could think of. Check-in was a breeze and check-out just as easy. Would love to have been slope-side but this house was definitely the next best thing. I am VERY picky especially when it comes to cleanliness and this house was spotless. Plenty of towels were provided...even ones for the hot tub. I had a couple of questions during our stay and they were answered quickly. There is a boot dryer in the garage which was an added bonus.The ONLY thing we had trouble with was the ice maker but I’m sure that will be fixed by the next rental. One tip if you are skiing...rent from Breck Sports Peak 8 and you can store your skis over night and when you go in for lunch...this is a life saver.

We love this house, but I may start looking at other properties. The basement master shower has very low water pressure, almost unusable. It was like that in Feb when we stayed and I asked for that to be taken care of before we arrived in Nov. They said no problem, but it wasn't done. Some of the water spouts are completely clogged. The shower head needs a deep soak/cleaning or replaced. Also, the basement master bed frame is not adequate. The crossbeams are too short and the bed almost caved in. I texted the property manager about it, but they never showed up, I only received an automatic response. We ended up working the boards ourselves and sticking toilet paper in the grooves for the last night we were there. Otherwise it's a great space in a great location. Clean and beautiful space. If the kinks get worked out, we'd love to keep staying here.

Reviewer Comments: We stayed at this property for few nights and although the house itself is in great location and good condition - it is expensive and we ran into a problem with customer service around not working hot tub. There was a setting issue and when we contacted preperty mgmt, no support was given to actually check if this simple setting was an issue even when pictures of setting were provided. As it turned out it could have been fixed over the phone if personnel just checked that. Instead we were told to wait till next day when maintenance company opens up but also we were leaving. No concession was given for having this bad experience after the fact. We got blamed that we did not contact them earlier and during maintenance hours, so instead of skiing we should have focused on that . For this price you expect superior customer service and if something went wrong some sort of concession (like discounted future stay ) or small reimbursement. We chose this property vs others in same location because of the hot tub but were only able to use it 1 out of 3 days. company basically said - it is your mistake/your problem.

The walk to the gondola station is way greater than 300 feet but it was ok! They gave us PLENTY of starter trash bags, dish soap, dishwasher andlaundry pods, toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, soap (I purchased some and really didn't need to do that). Pick up extra paper towels! We enjoyed the hot tub every night! The management people responded quickly and kindly with any of our needs. There was even salt, pepper, olive oil, even aluminum foil! Well stocked house. Clean, comfy, good beds, great bathrooms.

Friendly neighborhood just below slopes.
Great recently remodeled home. We would rent it again. The neighbors were terrific - Texans as we are (except for one stray Okie). Besides the appearance and location, both exceeded our expectation, beds and bathrooms are important to me. Both we excellent.

The home is beautiful and located so close to peak 8. My family and I spent time hiking and relaxing at the house. It was also recently remodeled and they did a wonderful job. We are already talking about going again next year.

Gorgeous and perfect for our two families
This property is gorgeous! Perfect for our two families of four. It has a beautiful, big, white and brand new Kitchen with every tool and appliance you would need. The main master bedroom and bathroom is perfect. There is a second smaller master downstairs. There are three king beds in this house! Its was exactly what we were looking for to fit everyone comfortably. The boys thoroughly enjoyed the bunk room with “secret” closet area. The home is a very short walk to the Shock Hill stop for the gondola. The hot tub is a great size and sits on a peaceful back porch. Management was very responsive and so helpful. We had such a wonderful time staying at this amazing property and hope to visit again sometime soon.
