This property was fantastic. Loved everything about it! Beds were comfortable, kitchen well-appointed (a chef’s dream, with all Viking appliances), and the views were out of this world. Bring binoculars! We saw a fox, a bear, and a little bird who lost his way came for a visit while we sat on the balcony enjoying the scenery. The only drawback was internet problems all week long. To their credit, Alpine properties sent four different technicians out, but in the end, we spent the week without connectivity. Hope it is fixed for the next guests. Would come back in a heartbeat. Highly recommend this property for a beautiful escape.

Great weekend at Shockhill

The Shockhill Lavish Mtn Overlook property is amazing. Not only is the townhome gorgeous on the inside the views are stunning. The moose paying us a visit was icing on the cake. We rented the unit for a friends weekend and couldn’t have been more pleased. The property management team was very easy to deal with and made check in and out a breeze. We will be back for sure.

Picturesque Mountain Getaway!

This property is beyond amazing in every way. The photos don't even do it justice! Beautiful neighborhood and gorgeous, well-appointed and very clean home. Every detail is covered and it is a true vacation. Comfortable beds and amazing bathrooms and kitchen easy to use. The views from the property and decks are million-dollar! The check-in /out process was very easy and professional. Cannot say enough about how enjoyable this home was to stay!

Beautiful townhome in excellent location

This is a high end property with beautiful furnishings and great views. We didn’t know from the listing that it is semi- attached - more of a townhome than a freestanding house. It’s right near the gondola which is very convenient. Kitchen is very modern and well stocked with dishes and cookware.

Ski Trip - Breckenridge Shock Hill

Property was everything as advertised. Had everything you need for a great ski vacation. Excellent location with access to the gondola for easy access to Peaks 7 and 8 as well as access to getting into town (only drawback in getting into town since the gondola stops operating at 5pm). If heading to dinner into town you will need your car. Would definitely reserve this property again - great property in a great location.

Beautiful, clean and perfect for us!

It had everything we needed. Location is perfect. As a traveler, always research activities before you go. We didn’t know the first 2 weeks of June many things are closed in the area, including the Breck Connect gondola which is about 75 paces from the house. We made due, but we should have done more research. We’ve always been in July/August and didn’t realize summer activities didn’t start until the week after we stayed.The property management company was magnificent. When we had to leave early due to a medical emergency, we ended up leaving a very important item behind. They located it and mailed it to us. We are very thankful to have it back.We will certainly stay here again.

Beautiful House over looking huge mountain

This house is perfectly decorated and full of features. But it does have a lot of stairs. And coming from Louisiana to 11,000 ft it’s a lot of stairs when you can’t breath lol. But the house is amazing. It’s a short drive from Main Street in Downtown Breckinridge. It has its own Gondola in the neighborhood. It has some liking in the neighborhood also. House does not disappoint.

nice home but items missing or broken

The house garage did not work, there was not enough utensils for the family of 12. there was no remote in one of the bedrooms to use the TV. two the four burners in the kitchen did not work. The refrigerator frozen everything on the first two shelves. We were there 5 days and the management company kept saying they would come and fix the items and they never did. Very disappointing. Would not recommend this property.

We want to clarify a few points to provide a more complete picture on what happened starting with our inability to do our pre-arrival inspection, given that your party checked in three hours early without authorization. Our pre-arrival inspection is an essential part of our operations and has proven a successful tactic in addressing maintenance concerns proactively. We ensure everything is in order in the home. Due to your early check-in, we were unable to perform this routine inspection nor address any of the issues that you found prior to your arrival. When you notified us about the kitchen utensils, we promptly delivered additional silverware. We understood from our conversation that while you had enough for immediate use for all of your guests, you wished for more to avoid washing between meals. Concerning the stove burners, our technician arrived within 30 minutes of your call. However, we were informed by another member of your party that they were able to operate the burners without our assistance and they were unsure why we were called. Regarding the refrigerator, we provided guidance over the phone on adjusting the temperature, and you confirmed the issue was resolved. Throughout your five day stay, our team visited the property daily in response to your concerns. We understand that our frequent visits became disruptive to the other members of your party, and they started to no longer let us into the home as they felt there were no issues to address. We apologize for the garage, as this was an issue that we learned about the day of your check-in, the tension spring of the garage snapped, we believe due to the extreme cold temperatures we were having and the garage technician had to order a part to replace the spring. We truly do apologize for the inconvenience of the garage situation during your stay we did our best to address it in a timely fashion. We strive to provide a positive experience for all our guests. We regret that there was a disconnect between the feedback you provided during your stay as you had told us you guys were loving your stay but your review seems to say otherwise. We truly do value your feedback and will use it to improve our services. We are available to discuss this further if you wish to contact us directly.

Location is Good - beware of stairs and utensils

Home was nice. Would have been nice to know how many stairs are in this house, especially for people with bad backs and knees. There isn't even a bathroom on the main living area. The utensils where horrible, knives would not cut and were dangerous to use. Had to go out and purchase our own knives for our own safety. Toilet paper furnished was like sand paper (go buy your own). The real kicker is that Alpine Edge could not get the dishwasher fixed within an 18 day time frame that we were there so we had to wash dishes by hand for almost 3 weeks. Thats a lot of money to rent a place with the expectation that amenities will work. Will not rent from Alpine Edge again, due to this and their lack of actually caring about our stay. Their replay to me after inquiring was basically "sorry things break"

We were unaware of the poor quality of utilities/knives and we will be looking into improving those for the safety and comfort of our guests. As for the dishwasher, unfortunately, we are at the mercy of our appliance providers as we are not an appliance company. The part to fix the dishwasher was rush ordered and two day shipped, but did not arrive until after your stay. We were disappointed in the outcome of this service and have expressed both our and your displeasure to the companies involved- our guests should not have to wash dishes on vacation. Quiet and Convenient

Beautiful new home with high-end finishes like heavy weatherproofed doors, Viking appliances, and Sonos speakers. We were very comfortable. Gondola is next door and easy to take up to Peak 7 or 8, or down to town. There was a snow storm when we arrived, but our AWD vehicle could handle the road; could be tricky if you didn't have AW or 4WD. Highly recommend property - each bedroom had its own bathroom and being able to park in the garage and use a good-size mudroom to store winter clothes was very nice.

Great Location

This was our first trip to Breckinridge. We are from Florida, so we were not prepared enough for the high altitude. Please try to stay a night or two in Denver before ascending to 9600 feet! One of our party members had to return home early due to the altitude sickness. As for the unit itself, it was beautiful. It is not a house, but a townhome, sharing another side with another unit. We never heard our neighbors unless we were both outside grilling at the same time. The beds were cozy, though one seemed a bit saggy in the middle. The linens were very nice. Kitchen had all the spices needed for chili’s and Italian foods. We ran into a few issues with the WIFI and gas fireplaces, but they were fixed immediately and not an issue. Communication with the management company was exceptional. Very responsive and helpful. We look forward to returning again in the future. The location was perfect for us. We were close to the gondola to get into town. If the gondola wasn’t running, there were free bus rides to Shock Hill.

Amazing Family Retreat!

This house is perfect for a winter family trip (6 aduluts, 6 kids from 5-9 years + 1 infant) The duplex floorplan is perfect for large families or multiple families. Every bedroom has an attached bathroom so there are no issues with getting prepped and making it to the slopes first thing in the morning. The kitchen has top of the line appliances and you can store a weeks worth of food in the fridge and pantry. The walk to the Gondola mid-load is mere minutes from the garage. If you are looking for convenience and comfort, look no further!
