Rustic charm with modern technology at Eagles Haven, a 3250 sq ft private log cabin retreat nestled among the beautiful Ponderosa Pines in Strawberry, north of Payson, Arizona, a short 1.5 hr drive from Phoenix, Arizona.

Eagles Haven has two master bedrooms is 4 bedroom, 4.5 bath and sleeps 17 people comfortably - 13 in beds and an additional 6 in pull out couches. In addition, there is a pull out couch in the game room for a total of 21 people. The half bath is located in the game room, which also has a refrigerator and wet bar. There are 2 gas fireplaces (one in the living room and the other in the basement / family room), dining room and a game room.

Amenities include pool table, air hockey, (3) big screen TVs, board games, darts, lots of child toys, including a Ms Pacman / Space Invaders video game, porch swing, outside rocking chairs, picnic table.

Cook magnificent meals in the updated (March 2022) kitchen. Stainless steel Samsung freestanding stove cooks like a regular range as well as convection, air fryer and steam cooking. Kitchen Aid microwave boasts of convection cooking, as well as regular microwave. The Samsung dishwasher has 3 racks and will automatically open when done to allow the steam to escape!

With the quaint, fully stocked kitchen, entertain your closest friends and family outside on the wood porches, on the picnic tables or in the spacious amazing living room and dining room. This true log cabin does have AC on the ground floor, the basement is naturally cool, year round and ceiling fans in every room.

The game room (garage) has its own bathroom, sink, microwave and refrigerator / freezer and even a pull out sofa. This is perfect for a honeymoon suite or groups for all occasions. Enjoy the Pool table, air hockey and darts here.

Beautiful old cabin but it needs to be cleaned

Nice kitchen but the utensils were dirty, cracked coffee mugs and wine glass. The main floor bed had hair between the sheets. The fold our couch in the rec room was dirty and the mattress is horrible. The only air conditioning is a small portable in the main living area, even a cross breeze at night it was still hot. The cabin needs a good cleaning and some overdue maintenance. The location is fantastic in the pines, pinons and the cedars but this place needs to clear the roof of the pine needles to be fire wise.

We had a wonderful time. The kids loved playing air hockey, while my husband and i played pool and darts. We enjoyed being able to.cook for family in the beautiful kitchen. Family meals in the dining room.

Girls weekend

The cabin is large and easily accommodated our group of 5. Location is close to restaurants and was easily accessible. Cabin was clean and had all necessary supplies in kitchen to cook meals. We had a lovely time.

Loved the cabin!

Great place for the family to all be together and enjoy Strawberry and Pine. The game room was amazing for all of us to get together and enjoy! Enough space for us all to sleep. Amenities were great! Thank you so much! We will definitely be back in the future!

We had fun but we wish the downstairs gas fireplace would have worked - the children were cold when they went downstairs - it would be ok in the summer bur in the wintertime the heat should be working down stairs - as all the games movies and kid things are downstairs - this is our second stay and we did not have heat downstairs last time we stayed either because the downstairs gas fireplace was not working

Amazing and beautiful cabin

We were so impressed by the property and the gorgeous log home. You can see the love and care the home has received over the years. It was stocked with anything you may need for a family gathering and the home is gorgeous. There is more than enough room for a large family to spread out. We absolutely loved the Christmas tree and decorations!

Good Place for a Retreat

Took a minute to find cause Google sent us too far down the road but it's a nice house that's well cared for. One small issue with some hidden damage but the host was responsive and it didn't cause any further issues with the stay.

Easter weekend retreat

Great place for families with kids, teenagers and adults!! Multiple areas to escape to. We have stayed at many VRBOs and this Kitchen was by far the best stocked! Overall a great place.
