Iguana Maya House, private house in the center of Merida

Iguana Maya House is a charming private house, recently renovated in the Center of Merida. It is a very nice place, with lots of light, a very nice terrace, its own pool and very special details in every corner.

The apartment and the pool are exclusively for guests, they are not shared with anyone.

In our space we welcome all people, regardless of ethnic origin, sex, age or sexual orientation. We value what makes us unique and what unites us as human beings.

Important: For the safety of the place and everyone, we will ask for the official identification of the person who has reserved.

Parking: Most of the houses in downtown Mérida do not have parking, as they have a very old design. However, around the house there is a private parking lot where you can park without problem (it charges 50 MXN per day).

Cleaning: In order to keep your space clean and with good energy, stays longer than 7 days will be cleaned (every seventh day) and 200 MXN pesos will be charged in cash.

Climate: Merida has a hot and very humid climate, so it is very easy to find insects and although the house is constantly fumigated there is always the possibility of finding some, especially ants.

Solar heaters: We use solar heaters to heat the water because we like to take care of nature. Therefore it can happen on very few occasions (if there is no sun for several days), that the water does not come out very hot.
