Lovely Stay!

My daughter and I ran the Boston Marathon and stayed here, along with our spouses for 4 days. Plenty of room, adorable house with lots of character, all that we needed and everything was so clean!

Quiet cozy place!

Staying at The Adelaide Guest house was very cozy and a quiet neighborhood. Host was very friendly and accommodating. We would definitely come back again!

Boston Visit

This house was very well situated to use as a base to visit Boston. It was clean and had wonderful amenities. We would not hesitate to stay there again.

Not far from Boston

Great place for us to regroup everyday. We never used the T has a rental car and drove into Boston. Very clean and comfortable. We appreciate you letting us stay in your home.

Great Experience!

This rental was exactly as described. We were in town for a hockey tournament and some activities in the Boston area. The rental itself was comfortable, incredibly clean and the neighborhood was very quiet, as we sat out on the deck in the mornings and evenings. The host was amazing, promptly replying to every inquiry I had and genuinely wanted us to have the best time possible. I would stay at this rental again without question!

Not a welcoming place. A bar of soap, a box of tissues, maybe even one other roll of TP available would have been good. We weren't planning to have to go get soap for a shower, instead of using dish soap, or the pump hand soap. There was an overall lack of what felt like welcoming generosity. Instead it was bare bones. Old broken tea kettle, just a few coffees in the machine...While the owner may believe that dark green wall paint and heavily perfumed air is a plus, we found it to be quite unpleasant.

Overall a Great first experience

Stairs are steep for the in laws (+70) but we were well aware of the stairs so not a big deal and upstairs floors were creeky but learned this was normal for the area. Great space for our needs. Would've been nice to have extra toilet paper, paper towels, bath towels and bed sheets for our 11 day stay. Instead we were suggested to wash them, while on our vacation....but, don't get me wrong, it was nice to have the option to do laundry if we needed to. Overall the host kept in contact through the app as needed and didn't disturb us at all while we were there. Felt like home. Thank you.

We were coming in town for a wedding and my husband is 6'4 so we were looking for a VRBO with at least one king. This was the only one in the area with a king. We booked it! When we arrived- we were met with two queens and one full which is NOT what the listing says. We sat down on the queen-- that was supposed to be a king and it was HORRENDOUSLY squeaky!! We had delayed flights getting into Boston and all we wanted to do was rest... but every time one of us rolled over... the bed squeaks! To make matter worse-- when I reached out ot the owner.. they said they would measure it when they came to clean the next day and get back to me and asked if we wanted to stay... we were there for a wedding-- we didn't have a choice but to stay! The listing also advertises laundry and shows just a regular washer and dryer, when in reality... you have to pay 3 in quarters to do any laundry (which is not shown in listing but see photo attached).The house was clean but some things in the listing need to really be updated!!!

Good Hub to Access Boston & New England

We stayed here as our hub to visit all six New England states. It was a great location for that, being easy to get to & from main highways. Dowtown Boston was typically a 15 minute drive (normal traffic). We cooked most nights in the home. While it had most of the cookware we needed, some more pans & storage containers may be useful. The property manager was responsive, getting back to us within an hour when we couldn't find something. The listing said it had a king bed, which it did not. It was two queens & a full. One queen mattress (bedroom closest to the bathroom) is very springy & only was comfortable for one person to sleep. Overall for the price, it was a clean property with good amenities. Our family of four would stay again if ever there again.

Sweet house in an easy location to anything you may need. Wonderful owners!

Loved this house! Felt like home for my 3 months travel assignment. Near everything I needed-grocery, coffee shop, great restaurants. Close to Boston-yet far enough to keep it quiet.
