Beautifully remodeled upstairs guest house, a great getaway for couples, or a small family. Best of both worlds you are in the county but close to town. Our guest house sits on 10 acres with a seasonal creek, behind a private gate, and private entrance.
French doors to the deck for a tranquil view of meadows and Mt Lassen. Comes complete with a beautiful King size bed, full kitchen, Wood floors, Hida bed, 65in T.V with all the steaming channels, A place for all's enjoyment!

Kitchen was set up GREAT, felt like home. Loved how house was decorated, nice to sit on balcony and have coffee in the morning. Had a wonderful time, will be coming back.

Perfect place to stay

Host was wonderful, the location was perfect, access was easy, guest house was very clean and comforting. Host provided everything needed for our stay and we would definitely recommend this location. Looking forward to staying there in the future!

Great place

We got there after dark - Thank God for the precise directions. This was bigger than we originally thought. Bed was very comfortable. Our daughter stayed on the couch. Full kitchen, bathroom was great and loved the balcony. Very quiet and peaceful. We would book another stay if we are in the area.

Great Country Getaway!

My husband and I were in town for a wedding. Our favorite part was sitting on the balcony having our morning coffee. We had a beautiful view of the meadow below, and listened to the wonderful, sweet sounds of the countryside; chickens, wild turkeys, and I believe a peacock. It is a perfect spot for a couple's getaway, would defiantly return if in the area.

Wonderful guest house in pastural setting

Great private guest house in pastural setting just outside Redding CA yet near all the attractions and conveniences of Redding. Deborah is a great host and very responsive in communicating. A bonus is a great view of Lassen Volcano from the balcony. Would stay here again. You will not be disappointed.

Palo Cedro weekend getaway

This property was a great place to stay. We really liked the quietness of it. It is in a great location to get on highway 44 and either head to Shingletown or into Redding. The property is well furnished and was clean and comfortable. We will definitely try to stay there again when we are in the area.

We loved it!

My husband was doubtful about booking in the country over a garage but really it was great for us and our small dogs. The place was roomy and Debbie has put a lot of attention to detail. Everything we might want was right there. Including a great view of Mt Shasta and Lassen from the deck. The location might not be for everyone - can’t walk to a cafe - but it was 10 min from downtown Redding and our dogs loved going outside off leash around the building. We would choose it again. Note the apt is up a flight of stairs.

Home away from home

We loved our 3-night stay at this Redding listing. We had privacy, a beautiful interior, and the peace and quiet of the country. After busy days, we were able to wind down on our own little deck with a glass of wine and have an "ahhh" moment viewing the beautiful Mt. Lassen. Thank you, Debbie, for sharing your super accomodations with us.

Quaint Getaway

Host was very responsive to all communications. Property was clean and ready. Nicely appointed and great location. Seemed to only be about 10 minutes to everything we wanted to do. We really enjoyed the quiet area away from the hustle and bustle. Would stay again!!!

Relaxing and Quiet

We enjoyed our stay in this cozy and quiet place while we were in the area for an archery tournament. Perfect spot that was close to everything, yet felt away from it all. Peace and Quiet

If you are looking for a place to chill, this is it. Close to everything but next to nothing. Clean, cared for, and well appointed. You simply cannot go wrong. The rental is accessed by an interior set of stairs. Keep that in mind should that present an issue for you.
