Lincoln's Loft - Hawthorne suite is a beautifully renovated street level apartment in downtown Lincoln, IL that was completed in March of 2021. Lincoln's Loft lower unit is an experience in itself. This historically renovated space is a prime location for entertaining your group downtown, quiet family getaway, or a friends weekend. The loft features a livingroom/dining/kitchen all in an open concept. Down the hall you will find 2 bedrooms, one featuring 2 queen beds, 3 nightstands, and wall racks to hang clothing, The second bedroom features one queen bed, 2 wall shelves used as nightstands, a full sized washer/dryer along with detergent and dryer sheets, and a closet with extra linens, luggage rack, extra towels, and extra blankets. Further down the hall you will find a ‘selfie area’ with our logo and hats to wear in the pictures. The full sized bath is to your right with a 36 inch vanity, and a walk in shower with glass doors. Outside the emergency exit there is a small smoking area with bench and a cigarette butt disposal receptacle.

Exceptionally clean property. This is such a cute place to stay. Attention to detail throughout with more amenities than most places. Coffee nook, dishes, washer/dryer, extra towels etc. Cozy rooms with comfortable beds, enough space for everyone to stretch out. Easy check in instructions and a helpful manual about the suite and local area. Definitely recommend and would stay here again.

Family time

We have 4 grandchildren that live in Lincoln and we came from Alaska… plenty of room for us all… walk to movies and the park every day, lots of food options and things to do on the square. Can walk for food, shopping, coffee,bars even grocery store. We loved everything about it!

Very Clean!

The property is very nice and clean. The owner is very quick to respond to questions. We stayed in Lincoln for a family wedding and was perfect for what we needed. We didn’t even really use the upstairs loft bc the downstairs was large enough. Would stay again if needed.

Nice short stay

We only stayed one night and were comfortable. Things were clean and decor was very cute. Train was loud and frequent as well as traffic outside. I did know about the train in the listing. The fans helped drown out the traffic noise. Everything else was great!

Wow! Just wow!

If you are traveling to Lincoln, IL for any reason, I would highly recommend staying at the Lincoln Lofts. They are a hidden gem in downtown Lincoln right off the town square. The units are immaculate, thoughtfully decorated, and stocked with everything you will need and more for your stay. Megan was a wonderful host and very responsive. My family and I will definitely be back! We also had a great dining experience at Guzzardos and lovely private party at Spirited Republic which are both less than a block away from the property.

We traveled in for our grandmother’s 90th birthday - and truly enjoyed the Lincoln Loft!! Perfect location near cafes and bars. Beautifully decorated loft - and exceptional communication from the property manager! We highly recommend. Our family stayed at the Derby loft and loved it as well.

Great place, great location, great host!

This place was just as advertised! One of the cleanest and nicest rentals we've ever stayed in. Right on the square, we were within walking distance of several restaurants and bars, and a great central location to get anywhere in Lincoln. I only contacted the host one time, and she responded in about 5 seconds. All of the necessary kitchen utensils, towels, blankets, etc. It was perfectly stocked and very enjoyable! Would definitely recommend!

Nice place to stay. Felt like home

This is a very cute loft. We are originally from the area and this was a great place for us to all stay in one place. We could have people come to visit us and just relax. Lots of cute places downtown to visit, including bakery, candy shop, coffee shop, gift shop, restaurant for breakfast, grocery store all within walking distance. It is close to a bar which can get crazy on weekend nights if you have small children but we did just fine with a sound machine for the 2 year old. Will definitely stay again if available next time we are in town.
