Our stay at the retreat was perfect. Quiet and very relaxing. Yet close enough to Penn State to be able to visit our son for a football game Thank you Will and Dana for a great experience
A peaceful stay. The area was incredibly quiet being tucked away on a gravel road. Host was communicative and attentive when we needed help. Thereâs little to no service inside the home, which can be a good way to unplug and rest.
Our family felt very comfortable in this very nice cabin in Central Pennsylvania. We had a delightful time and enjoyed the front porch as well as the serenity. I just canât think of anything that couldâve been better.
Stayed for a family wedding and it was centrally located between the different places we had to go. The only complaint was from the younger adults about no WiFi. The hosts were more than helpful.
It was a wonderful place to relax while attending a family wedding. Our only concern were the bees, wasps & hornets while sitting on front porch because one of our family is highly allergic to them. Other than those little pests it was a wonderful stay.
This is the 3rd time weâve stayed here for Penn State weekends it is a hidden gem only 20 miles away. Secluded in the woods. Host is gracious, very clean, and beautiful historic property.
The Lost Dutchman offers many sleeping spaces and areas to hang during the day. The kitchen is equipped for any meal you would need to prepare. We had a misty, rainy weekend and spent any free time on the covered porch. Will and Dana reached out with easy check-in instructions .
Group of friends competing in the Ironman 70.3 event in Happy Valley. Rented the main house and cottage. Plenty of room and well enough equipped to cook and congregate together while still having our own space. Superb location for all outdoor activities. No WiFi, but most of us were able to get cell service.
The house and the property are even cuter in person and the hosts are super accommodating. This was our second time at the house and we plan to come back every year!
We rented this place for the Luke Combs concert at State College. It was one of the most reasonable priced places we could find. It was a cute and charming place in the middle of the woods. We enjoyed how peaceful, everything was. We would recommend this place to anyone staying in the area.
