Creekside Getaway in Evergreen

We invite you to visit our beautiful mountain property just 7 miles from Evergreen Lake and its charming downtown. Our home is on a wooded acre frequented by wildlife and boasting beautiful rock formations. Its creekside setting is perfect for enjoying your morning coffee on the deck off the master bedroom or cocktails in the evening hour watching the neighborhood deer and foxes stroll through. Or star-gaze from the new hot tub on the deck! The upstairs features an open living area/dining area and kitchen with a large deck, a wood stove and a 50" smart TV, as well as the master bedroom and a full bath. The dining table seats 6 and stainless steel appliances and granite enhance the kitchen. The downstairs includes a den with a gas fireplace, 2 bedrooms, a full bath and a laundry area. It also has a 50" smart TV and its own exterior entrance. We offer high speed DSL internet and DirectTV. Our phones work perfectly with WiFi calling. 30 Day Minimum rental.

Lovely retreat by creek and quiet neighbors

Barbara was a warm and friendly host who gave us great directions and was always accessible for any questions or concerns we might have.. Great welcome book with labels and directions around the house. We got to feed the many birds and chipmunks that were so fun to have around! Barbara even left birdseed along with many paper products and extra pillows and blankets. We were very thankful for a peaceful retreat as was promised!

Shadow Mountain Christmas

Very enjoyable stay! Everything we needed for an extended stay of 30 days. Owner Barbara was accommodating and in communication with us for any needs we had. Great wood stove, and gas fireplace for a real cabin feel. Lots of closet space and pantry to unpack to have that move in feel. Perfect tv options for all the watching you want. Abundant wildlife. Highly recommend this property!

such a lovely stay

really enjoyed our stay here. probably one of my favorite rentals. the creek and the hummingbirds were so nice. the home was spacious and clean and modern. communication was easy. the town of evergreen is so cute. would 100000 percent stay again and would recommend to anyone.

Amazing Mountain Getaway

This was the perfect Evergreen getaway! The home is cozy and comfortable with everything you need! Falling asleep to the sound of the creek and the rustling of the Aspen leaves.. Heavenly. Barbara was the perfect host, attentive communicative and kind! We can’t wait to return!

Lovely mountain retreat

I stayed for a month while traveling around the state. It suited my needs perfectly - a great place to escape the city and work remotely (good internet connection). The house is comfortable and large enough for a family. In a peaceful mountain setting with a babbling brook in front and forest behind. Barbara is a great hostess.

We are native Oklahomans who LOVE the beauty and serenity of the mountains. We also like to be close enough to town to enjoy local activities, dining in nice restaurants and the ease that comes with nearby stores.

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

We looked for two years to find our perfect retreat - close enough to town to provide the amenities we love, yet far removed from the hustle and bustle of city living. We wanted a place that was relatively easy to get to as well - no scary driveways or dangerous hills. We were drawn to the natural beautify of the Brook Forest area, including the nearby hiking trails and the beautiful mountains and wildlife. We fell hard for this one when we saw its creek and the wildlife that it brings to our back door. The mix of pines, spruce and aspen is beautiful and serene. Yet Denver is a mere 30 minutes or so away. And if I-70 is a nightmare, simply take well-traveled 285.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

We have spent much time in Denver the last 10 years and absolutely love its myriad museums, restaurants, and activities. We were yearning for a place nearby that offered the unique natural beauty of the mountains and the cool summer temperatures. Close enough to Denver to enjoy its attractions, but 2500' higher for the cool summer breezes makes a perfect combination!
