Wonderful Stay

We had a wonderful time during our stay at this Wapato Point house at Lake Chelan. The house was spacious, the kitchen well stocked and the location could not have been better. There were a couple of items that came up during the stay but the host was very responsive and fair. We would definitely stay here again.

Overall rental was as specified great view and nice layout of the house. We had landscaping and yard remodel work most of the week that started early and was loud the whole day..

Wonderful Stay

Our family had a great week staying her! Everything we needed and more. We love all the rooms and the outdoor table to have meals on. Th home was very clean and well supplied, with enough space for us all. We went to the lake and swimming and blueberry picking- so much fun. Can't wait to come back!

Perfect spot to enjoy Wapato

We had a great time and found the house perfect and great value for our family. The house has everything that you need in the kitchen and an incredible view! Anastasia was super responsive and helpful with everything we needed! Thanks again for everything!

Was a very good experience. The location to open space, beaches and pool was excellent. Patio had nice shade at end of day. Well furnished kitchen. Lots of dishes, knives and new pots and pans

Great Stay We Loved This House

This house has the best layout for multiple couples or family members especially those with little ones. Plenty of bathrooms and bedrooms spread out well so babies can sleep and not be so close. Loved the one story and open concept. The owner was fantastic! So kind with great communication! We will be staying at this house again in the future for sure!

July 4th in Chelan

Nice home to spend time with family. All on one floor, great views from backyard to south end of lake. Moon comes up right over hill at night. Pool just steps away but we spent most of time at the lake. Full access to Wapato Point amenities including pool, fitness gym, tennis courts, boat moorage. Fitness gym is not large enough, only 3 cardio machines for entire property - so after 3 people are in there, it's at capacity but that's not the owners issue. Very good communication from owner, would stay here again.

This house is in an amazing location, definitely one of the best spots on the point. The issue we had with this house is it feels like they are trying to minimize the costs too much. The beds are squeaky and old. The fridge is small and doesn't cool very well. The kitchen is not well stocked with lots of different drinking glasses or other basic kitchen amenities. There was no shampoo and soap, and there are no beach towels. It's a bummer because we had an okay experience, but it seems like the owner could spend a couple day's worth of rental revenue to really make this property feel like an awesome vacation spot, versus spending the absolute minimum they possibly can in order to maximize profit.

Thank you for your feedback—I truly appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. I want to acknowledge that this past year brought some unexpected challenges, including a broken fridge and the need to replace the A/C system, both of which were significant and urgent expenses. That said, I do my best to stay on top of updates and improvements, especially when it comes to older fixtures and features in the home. I’m committed to continuing that effort and plan to address the remaining items mentioned within the year. Thanks again for your patience and understanding!

Love the location and house, but…..

Love the location and house a lot!!! But the refrigerator needs to be replaced BAD as well as two of the queen beds. The refrigerator is on max cold and items in the fridge are barely cold and spoiled way quicker than at our home… the freezer does not keep things frozen. We bought ice cream and it was soup the rest of the trip. The two queen beds are squeaky beyond reason and the mattress’s are very worn out and super uncomfortable. Both my wife and I had aching backs every night… I actually chose to sleep on the couch one night to be sure and the couch was way more comfortable without any pain or squeezing upon every movement. Please replace these items and we will gladly come back every year!

Met our needs, but…

This place is very reasonably priced, and for a reason. It needs some basic repairs (no ice maker, window in master failed and shade broken), and updates. There is one main room and there is no sound barrier b/w them and the main room, which was a problem as we had an infant who needed to nap and go to bed early. The kitchen is missing some basic things (ie casserole dish).

Wonderful location & family friendly

Our family spent a relaxing week at Angel House enjoying all that Wapato Point had to offer. It was our first time to the resort and we won’t stay anywhere else now. The house was clean and comfortable for our family. The outdoor table was perfect for meals and late night card games. The location within the resort can’t be beat. Right across from the pool on a quiet street where our kids could safely roam. The kitchen was well stocked. My only suggestion is to be sure and bring your own beach towels and kid friendly cups. We will for sure be back!

Great stay!! Wonderful location and very comfortable!! Nice set up for a family/friends vacation The air conditioner worked great and kept the house nice and cool when it was 110 degrees plus some days during our stay. Good communication with the host ~ very responsive ~ thank you!!

I am a graduate of the University of Washington, currently working full time at Nordstrom Corporate. I have been going to Wapato Point with my family since I was born and have a very special place for this home.

Voici pourquoi l’hôte a choisi cet hébergement

We purchased this home as a family because we travelled here every year. It is one of my favorite places as there are infinite things to do with your family at Wapato Point. I have some of my fondest memories here and would love for others to experience the same type of joy I did growing up and to this day when I come to Chelan.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

This house was the first house built on wapato point and the architect of the home built the house for him and his wife. There is a rock wall built for the fireplace where the architect hand picked the rocks from the Wenatchee river, so this house has a very personal feel.
