Lake front loft on Blue Mesa Reservoir in Gunnison, Colorado . You have unobstructed views of the lake, breathtaking sunsets, 1 mile to Lake Fork Marina, 1/4mile beach access. Available year round so you can snowmobile, Ice fish, or ski at Monarch or Crested Butte. Summer time you can boat, paddle board, and fish to your hearts content or just relax on the beach. Located on the Sapinero Village Campground above the historic school house which is now the Sapinero Community Lodge.

Relaxing weekend

Our stay was great. The loft provided a quiet location for me and my dad to take a break, laugh and spend a few days near the lake doing some fishing. The loft provided the perfect atmosphere for sitting back drinking some coffee and making memories.

Great stop along the way

The loft was absolutely perfect for a quick stop through on our road trip through the state. The loft was clean & the view was wonderful. Highly recommend! I will say though, if you need food, stop in Gunnison or Montrose before you get there because there isn’t anything for at least 30 minutes in either direction & the general store is only open thurs-sun

We spent two nights at the loft in late July. The location was perfect for a day of fishing on the Gunnison. We loved the privacy also. Very comfortable and roomy apartment. We had all the amenities we needed. Will definitely return.

Great Blue Mesa Spot w/ Excellent Views !

Overall had a great stay at The Loft. There was a small issue with sleeping room for 6 adults but Kendal was upfront after booking and was able to rent a 2nd small cabin for the rest of the guys. Maybe shouldnt be listed for 6 people ? The views are amazing and the game room a huge plus for a hangout spot. Thanks for the comfortable stay !

Great little place has a game room with an extra tv. Great view. Close to black canyon. Host responds fast. Did the job for us. Has a grill we used .

This place is so cute and comfortable.

Owners super responsive and helpful-even went out of their way to notify my brother in law that the deer were "up on the hill"-made his stay to go and watch them for an hour! There is major road construction happening in the area that requires a bit of dodging at the moment-but worked in our favor-lot less traffic! ;) You have to be able to negotiate stairs (not a problem for us). The deck is a lovely place to have a view and it was a welcoming place for our very seasoned traveling dog. Great place to stay a night or two-wonderful place for a fisherman or hiker to explore furthar.

Wow. Just... wow. This loft is a true hidden gem. Clean, well maintained, awe inspiring view, especially in the evening, and that bed. Dont even get me started on the king bed. I have not slept so good in quite some time! We will return to this loft. Wow...

We couldn’t even get there. The property owner never sent over the detour time schedule so we were not able to make it to the property. I guess there is a bridge down and they only allow passage through the detour at certain times. She did not inform us of this until we were in Gunnison and had missed almost all of the time slots for passage. She lied, saying that she did send the information but we do not have it. Vrbo customer service and the property owner were incredibly unhelpful and dismissively. We have to find another place to stay and they refused to refund the money because of their mistake.

What a wonderful place to stay! The property owners are lovely, kind people that have done a great job with the property. It was cozy and comfy! The kids enjoyed the game room and the view can't be beat.

What a find!

We were looking for a spot to stay when visiting friends in Lake City. The Sapinero Loft was fantastic for the price. Very personable and friendly manager and owner. We spoke with them while walking around the property the following day. We enjoyed the lake view, which is very visible. Coming soon is a coffee shop! We will be back to stay without a doubt. Thank you for the great stay!

Overall nice loft.

Very roomy loft with great views. The fans were appreciated. The carpet in the smaller bedroom was wet by the chair and between the bed and the wall so I’m not sure if the roof had leaked from the rain or if the carpet had been cleaned and wasn’t dry. Overall a nice stay though.

Loved it and would stay again!

We stayed here overnight while traveling with friends. First impression was that everything was as advertised. Clean and comfortable with a great view of Blue Mesa Lake. We were pleasantly surprised that coffee was provided since we forgot to bring any as well as bottles of water. We met the owner and she was delightful. The lodge below had a game room which was available for us to use. Also, a beautiful fire pit with comfy chairs with the terrific lake view. We were excited to use it later in the evening, but rain messed up those plans. We would definitely stay again.

I’ll be back!

What a lovely property. This dog-friendly loft worked out perfectly for our weekend trip to the Black Canyon of the Gunnison. It was clean and comfortable and was in a great location between Gunnison and the National Park/Montrose. We caught an amazing sunset over the reservoir one of the nights we stayed. Next time I’m in the area, I’ll definitely look to this property again.

Lovely area

The cabin was so lovely! It snowed during our stay so it was nice waking up to the snowy mountains and lake. Wifi was a little wonky so we didn’t get to work much but maybe that was for the best! Haha
