Arrowhead Sanctuary!! Beautiful Cabin! Deck with Fire Pit & Incredible Views!

Beautiful cabin in Arrowhead Community! Views of the West Elk Montains and Flint Lakes V alley! This cabin has an open floor plan and is in wonderful condition with fresh paint and brand new carpets. Master bedroom has a full private bathroom, one guest room has a full-sized log bed, and one guest room has a trundle bed for additional sleeping space. Open floor plan boats a full kitchen w/ island, dining room w/ expandable table, bar, and large living room with pellet stove. Head outside to the large Trex Deck to use the grill and enjoy incredible views of the mountains. Enjoy the fire pit below the house as you watch the deer stroll by, or use the chiminea on the deck.

PLEASE NOTE: This cabin is only accessible via snowmobile/snowshoes/skies during the winter months! The cabin is less than 1 mile from the winter parking lot & shuttles to and from the cabin are available for an additional fee.

Winter: Snowmobile around Arrowhead Mountain, or snowshoe/ski along the hiking trails!

Summer/Spring: There is a hiking trail right off the driveway, fishing is permitted on 3 private lakes, national Forest and BLM access via track vehicles on groomed filing roads. There is also live music every Saturday night at the Arrowhead Mountain Lodge!

Blue Mesa Reservoir is less than 20 miles from the cabin for day trips and boating adventures.

The closest grocery store is over 30 miles away, so please plan accordingly. :-) Arrowhead Mountain Lodge has some staples available for purchase, but selection is limited.


PLEASE NOTE: There are exterior security cameras on the property (Ring doorbell, 1 camera at back door, 1 camera on entrance to deck, & 1 camera on back view of property).

Pure relaxation

The cabin was perfect and Autumn was such a great host. The views of the valley are beautiful and it’s so peaceful and quiet. The coyotes sang to us one night!!! I would definitely come back.

Wonderful winter stay at the cabin

This was a 2nd time staying at the cabin, and both times it has been fantastic. The cabin was perfect and cozy warm, and easy to access even with 18 inches of snow on the ground. Autumn is the most gracious hostess. Rent this cabin if you get the chance. You will not be disappointed.

Great secluded location!

If your looking for a nice secluded cabin, this is the place. My family and I enjoyed watching the wildlife in Arrowhead. Cabin had everything we needed! Fire pit was very nice! Would recommend!

Perfection on Ponderosa

This cabin was the perfect setting for our holiday weekend get away. Autumn, the host was TOP NOTCH!! She was welcoming, excellent at communication, and continuously ensured we had everything we needed. She seemed genuinely vested in ensuring we had a great experience and that we felt welcome at her property. Truly a pleasure! The cabin has all the amenities needed for a small group to stay, cook, relax, and play. It was incredibly clean and cozy! The deck was our favorite place to hang out and take in the scenery. We truly felt so welcome, it was easy to relax and enjoy. All of the conveniences and a beautiful setting!! We will definitely be back!!

Absolutely beautiful!

The property was stunning and the hosts were great! Everything you need for a getaway. Cell service is spotty and internet not great, but there was a variety of dvds, games, and puzzles to occupy your time.

Mountain Paradise

The cabin was terrific. Great view, great deck, easy access to national forest and outdoor experiences galor. Very clean and every amenity you need to feel right at home. This is the place you want to call home while experiencing the very best CO has to offer! We'll be back.

Delightful Mountain Getaway

Our host Autumn couldn't have been any more charming and helpful, responding to all my messages promptly and cheerfully. The property was a beautiful, well-maintained cabin, that felt totally comfortable and relaxing. Views from the large deck were gorgeous - I had to tear myself away! We plan to be back, and hopefully introduce more of our friends to this lovely area and property.

The best cabin retreat around!

We had such an amazing stay! Autumn was such an incredible host! The property is phenomenal, the cabin was perfect with wrap around balcony that is fully gated. We had great fires at night and the big kitchen was so helpful! I cannot say enough good things. We had a blast and it was close to black canyon of the gunnison and created butte! I really hope to come back! Thanks so much, Autumn!!

Beautiful mountain getaway

Beautiful property. Beautiful view. Great amenities. Easy access. Owners put much care into the daily necessities their guests might require. Everything is anticipated. Great gated deck that is awesome if you have a pet or child and are concerned about them wandering off or tumbling down stairs. Great fire pit area. Wifi and smart TV. Very private and quiet. It far exceeded our expectations.

Clean and comfortable in an AMAZING location!

After choosing this location, we immediately had great communication with our host, Autumn. Autumn even worked with us when we had to slightly modify our stay with no extra cost and no hassle (thank you so much Autumn!) When we arrived at the cabin, we were AMAZED at the beautiful location and how well stocked/supplied the cabin was for visitors! It was definitely a home away from home! When outside, we enjoyed the fire pit, the stars and the local wildlife! Even though we initially planned for this location as a "home base" for travels, we enjoyed this as a destination for our family trip. I would give more than five stars if possible and I cannot say enough great things about this host and location.

Great snowy getaway

This cabin was exactly what we were looking for: Reasonably secluded, quiet, and snowy! Take some time to slow down and catch the stars at night too. Unbelievable.Autumn was a fantastic host. Super communicative. We knew exactly what to expect upon booking, arrival, and departure.The cabin was great. The kitchen is fully equipped with anything you might need to cook. Seriously everything (parchment paper and aluminum foil to a few spices as well). The sink also has a filtered water tap so you don't have to blow through a lot of bottled water.The pellet stove is awesome! It is controlled by the thermostat so it was super easy to operate. The hosts also provide a literal trunk of pellets, so you'd be hard pressed to run out. The cabin has strong wifi too, so you don't have to be completely off the grid unless you want to be. We had some cell service depending on where we were standing in the cabin.If you are booking this cabin during winter months:- Once you are off the highway and getting into Arrowhead itself, a 4-wheel drive vehicle is highly recommended. The road is groomed, not plowed. A rear-wheel vehicle will not do you any favors.- You will have to take a tracked vehicle to the cabin itself. The snow was multiple feet deep, but you can hitch a ride in a Polaris through Arrowhead Mountain Adventures (they are great!).- Autumn arranged for our Jeep to be kept in the Winter Lot with a visitor pass.Rent this cabin! It is cozy and relaxing. Highly recommend!
