Run around after lauderdale flooding

Airport closed. Flights cancelled. Airlines reimbursed but am still getting the run around with the actual hotel. 3rd party, and VRBO. I have never had these issues when VRBO lists the actual owners but these 3rd parties are ridiculous. We never made it to the hotel but I am continuously calling all of them. And they all tell me to call the other one.

Lack of Amenities

The location was amazing. That being said. The room had no microwave I was told I can come and use the one in the lobby. The add said valet parking available but the only parking was valet at $35.00 a night. We stayed 5 nights there were 2 coffee pods after that I had to go to the lobby and buy coffee @ $4.00 a cup and no biggie but the last day we were there the Hot Tub was ice cold

Just one hiccup

The original room the first night was dirty. The sheets weren’t clean, the shower door was dislocated, and the shades could not go up. We had to request a new room

Hot Florida Room

Room was nice. TV was on other side of bed which was weird. No balcony and can’t see ocean from hotel. Nice location thought. The worst part for me is the energy efficient rooms. We stayed up sweating a lot At night!!!

Nice hotel, but would not return

This hotel looks nicely renovated on the outside when you pull up. You cannot see the beach from the hotel, but with a 5 min walk you are on the beach, so it’s not too bad. The beds were comfortable, but there is no balcony or window to open to get any fresh air in the room. The rooms are “energy efficient” so everything shuts off when you pull your key card out of the wall. We left ours in hoping with the Florida heat we could keep the room cool, but it’s preset to hotel standards so each night you would wake up sweating and no options to turn the ac down. Unit does not come with any fans in the bathroom or bedroom, so it’s stale air. (Just pray no one in your room gets sick, happened to us and there is no ventilation at all!). Employees were nice, but unfortunately there is no one watching the pool area. During our 2nd or 3rd night, about 35 locals jumped the pool fence and took over the pool and ended up turning into a total nightmare. There were 7 police cars that showed up to break up fights. We left after that night and went to another hotel a little ways away. For these reasons, we will not return.

Worth it!

This hotel was very nice the beach across the street was just steps away and nice and quiet! The waters were clear and warm for swimming. We requested 2 beds I would think our host would call the property to accommodate but they were not willing. Other than that we had a great time. Would def recommend the restaurant Dune a cross the street as well!

Quick getaway

We had a wonderful time! We were able to walk to restaurants and enjoyed the quiet atmosphere. The staff were friendly and everything was clean. The pool was a little small and surrounded by high rises.

Great property

Lovely room, know that it is a hotel room, not a condo. Across the street from the beach, nice pool and hot tub, really nice rooftop deck with view of the ocean, great spot to bring your own breakfast or glass of wine. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Great location/clean hotel

Cambria was great. Very clean with great staff. Bar was super convenient with a great happy hour everyday from 4-7pm. The location is good, you kind of have to walk far to Los Olas/central beach but being right on Ocean Blvd was sublime. Easy two minute walk to the local beach front. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to come visit Fort Lauderdale for a few days.

Nice hotel, nice location, clean, new

Overall the hotel was great, staff was nice. It was not crowded. It was always clean and well kept. I'd stay here again. 1 thing that the hotel should work on is communication with housekeeping staff. I called 2 times for my body wash to be refilled in the shower and it never happened. Even though it was "noted down" each time.

Perfect location and awesome staff

I love this hotel and the staff. The general mgr is awesome and i would totally stay here again.
