Our family lives throughout BC, and Sun Peaks location is central to us all, with many seasonal activities for everyone to enjoy. We've incorporated flexibility into the design at Pinetree Chalet Sun Peaks - we call the separate 2-bedroom level the "Sugar Pine Suite", which can be added to a main house rental, or booked separately. We're delighted to welcome other families to enjoy Sun Peaks year-round.
Skiing at Sun Peaks is a wonderful experience, with runs for all of our family - from little ones just learning the pizza wedge to 30's extreme and grandparents still perfecting their curves through wooded peek-a-boo slopes. There's also alpine trails for snow shoeing and x-country skiing; Mountain biking, hiking, nearby lakes, golf, watching the ever-changing mountain views and wildlife from your front-row seat on the deck or great room. Sun Peaks Village was described by one of the "kids" as a Mini-Disneyland - stroll through the pedestrian streets and explore the restaurants and shops.
At the end of a fun-filled day, kick back and relax at the chalet surrounded by lodge decor: wood beams, 9' ceilings, procured bedding, nature-inspired art, comforts of home - the total experience offers an escape from everyday life. The Sugar Pine Suite inspires a memory-making getaway.

The Sugar Pine Suite in Pinetree Chalet is located on the slope of Tod Mountain, and is a short walk to Sun Peaks Village. Guests are expected to maintain the peacefulness of the area. We offer a true Tod Mountain ski-in location from blue or green runs right to the hot tub and front door. In summer, listen to the streams that run right next to the property and follow them on your hike up the mountain.
The Sugar Pine Suite is available first to groups as an add-on to renting the Main House. If the Sugar Pine Suite isn't rented with the Main House, it will be made available separately. It is fully available within 30 days of arrival.
Groups will appreciate:
- Great Room with 9' ceilings, picture window with stunning mountain view;
- the dining or games table;
- large foyer to store gear;
- a well-equipped kitchen;
- the large open-air hot tub with stunning views (private use during odd hours)

The Sugar Pine Suite can be booked as a private getaway. Guests will have the benefit of a full kitchen to cook meals, dining and living areas incorporating the panoramic view. Both bedrooms have queen beds, with the option of adding a twin bed in each room.
Adding the Sugar Pine Suite to a Main House rental allows extended families to stay together. This separate space offers a private oasis with a separate entrance (no inside access) - whether a newlywed suite, or grandparents who want to retreat from time to time.
