Pleasantly surprised
Little leery pulling up but the front desk staff was nice and our room was surprisingly pleasant. Kids loved the blue lighting behind the headboards, water for our shower was super hot (thank you!) And the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. The man at the desk was more than happy to send a bunch more pillows to us when we went down late at night. The mini golf was not mini golf, at least not what we were directed to. It was a 15*20 area, maybe, that has 4 holes in the ground to short putt in to. That was a bummer only because our son LOVES mini golf but it is rather expensive so we don't go often. The mini golf was one reason this place won out over others. The only other "con" was the surrounding area 🤷🏽♀️ It is sketchy at best. There is a permanently set up Fun Spot carnival across the parking lot that we went to. Didn't feel particularly welcomed there 😳 The carnival and car/pedestrian traffic crossing is loud for trying to sleep without background noise to help dampen it and it goes on laaaate. The hotel can't help that, but it is something to keep in mind. Overall, as far as the hotel itself is concerned, we were pleasantly surprised with our lodging. Thank you for the stay :)
