We had a fantastic stay with our group of 15! The cabin was cozy, well-maintained, and offered a great mix of indoor and outdoor amenities for both kids and adults. The fire pit and lights by the creek were a highlight and created the perfect setting for the whole group to gather and enjoy the evening time together. Highly recommend for families and larger groups looking for a memorable getaway !

We spent our long overdue family vacation here. The kitchen was very well stocked for a vacation rental. If you have a large family and like to cook your meals like we do, I might recommend bringing a large pot and a sharp knife. Other than that, everything we needed was provided and then some- cutting boards, casserole dishes, plastic containers for leftovers, hand mixer, coffee pot, electric tea pot, baking sheets, and plenty of glasses, plates, bowls, and silverware for our large crowd. There were also plenty of towels and linens. The location was wonderful, the beds were all very comfortable, the stream was excellent for our little ones, the hot tub was great after a day of tubing or visiting waterfalls, and cornhole was a great passtime between activities. Everyone appreciated that there were extra fans in every room for sure circulation and/or white noise for nap time for littles. The owner was very accessible and responsive when we had questions. We would definitely stay here again.

The property was absolutely beautiful. Easy to access, very clean, true log cabin vibes. Every dish, kitchen utensil and pots/pans that you could possibly need are there! Even a stand mixer! Nothing better than fresh baked bread in the mountains. Our family loved it here and we cant wait to return.

Mens church group

We rode our motorcycles from Florida to North Carolina to explore the mountains. This is absolutely a great place to stay we enjoyed every aspect of this property. We will definitely stay here again.

Perfect for a weekend trip!

We loved our stay at the cabin! It was secluded enough to feel remote and close enough to other things to still have something to do. We visited Nantahala lake and a local brewery! The outdoor areas on the property are great, and we especially enjoyed the water pressure.

Great cabin in Andrews

Close to great hiking and kayaking. Big cabin with plenty of space for the entire family. The cabin is cozy and has a lovely creek and big barn. Lots of activities for kids and adults. The hot tub is a nice way to end a long day of exploring the area.

Amazing Place

We had 9 people stay at the cabin for my sons 21st Birthday. We came do ride Tail of the Dragon. We had 2 trailers 5 motorcycles and 3 vehichles. The Cabin was absolutely perfect. The owner was super communicative and answered any questions we had. It was a great location. We would definitely stay again.

50th Anniversary/ Family Reunion

The location was perfect. Close to many things to do. The property was everything our family needed. The men road motorcycles up through the Tail of the Dragon and many windy curves. The creek was enjoyed by all. The cabin was everything we needed. Cherokee was a fun time and not a far drive. Would love to return again next year. Highly recommend this location. Owners were so easy to deal with.

Quiet Holler

I was in the area to explore and stayed for a week. Comfortable and cozy, and I can see how there would have been plenty of space for my family if they had been traveling with me. Excellent layout. Well stocked and spacious kitchen. The bed and sheets always gets the highest marks in my book, and this one was top notch. It was incredibly quiet, and I slept really well every night. Zero complaints, Nathan was on top of communication for any questions I had. I would 10/10 stay here again.

The cabin is great for a large group. This was one of the cleanest places I've ever rented. There is tons of seating for guests and a good number of beds. Be careful with the sleeping arrangements because the max guest number implies several couples. The beds were clean and there was plenty of additional blankets and linens available. The kitchen was clean and well stocked and there is a second refrigerator in the laundry room. We really enjoyed gathering outside on both of the decks and with no close neighbors we could sit outside well into the evening and not worry about disturbing anyone but ourselves. The weather was perfect all week so we didn't use the barn at all. Unfortunately, the hot tub was out of order all week. The location is great, just a mile or so outside of downtown Andrews and easy access to other neighboring towns. Contacting the host was easy and he responded quickly. Parking was good for motorcycles but as with any piece of land in this area, parking more than a couple vehicles, there will be walking up or down hill. Overall, there is more than enough room for parking vehicles. Is it perfect, no place is. Is it acceptable, most definitely. I'd use it again if we go back to this area.

Bill, thank you so much for all of the wonderful things you had to say about the property and the cabin! I do apologize that the hot tub wasn't repaired in time for your stay. Because we are tucked away in the mountains, getting specialized parts and technicians scheduled took longer than we anticipated. Our family has been disappointed as well that it wasn't working. Thank you for being gracious and accepting our $200 refund due to this issue. Please come back next year and we'll work hard to get your 10/10 rating!

Amazing Family Trip

This home is amazing! It is fully stocked with everything you can think of for a family traveling with young children. The outside space is so much fun. Your own private creek, a place to put a slip and slide ( we left the tarp we bought) Fire pit , corn hole, hot tub, and amazing views! We just loved this place! I would highly recommend visiting here! Nathan was easy to contact and replied immediately! A storm rolled through and knocked the electricity out in the area! It was back on quickly and all was good! We thoroughly enjoyed our vacation! We LOVED at his house!!!
