I have 4 sisters and we take a sisters trip each year. It’s hard to find a property that meets our needs. This property was wonderful! The bed and bath ratio was good for us. The location was exactly as stated on VRBO. The house was clean and located within walking distance to town and to the river. Our host was very fast if we had any questions and was very good about communication. All in all it was a great trip and the house helped make it that way.

The house was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The location was great; very close to restaurants and shops on Main Street as well as the parks by the river.

The place was immaculate!! Communication with Kelly was fantastic the whole stay. Great location for getting around Madison. Kelly is a great hostess - lots of extras at the place - ie a basket of goods if you forgot anything, cups to get you started, umbrellas if needed, games, charging station, etc. Would definitely stay again

Beautiful renovated property, very clean and well stocked - we rented both units which was perfect for 8 old high school friends to get together for a reunion. Everything is within walking distance from the property although we did drive to Clifty Falls to hike. Highly recommend this property and owner who communicated with us during our stay to make sure we had everything we needed - a lovely stay!

Our family group had a wonderful weekend here. This is a beautifully restored property, well-appointed and the host has thought of everything to make a guest comfortable. It's within easy walking distance of historic downtown. Highly recommend!

We loved staying at General's Quarters! The house had everything we could have needed and more. We loved the historical narrative provided about the house and seeing original details. The location was perfect for walking to all of the sites we were visiting as well as downtown for dinner. Thank you for a great stay!

Great Location with River Views

This was a great location close to the Ohio River and Downtown Madison. We enjoyed sitting on the back patio watching the boats and barges in the evening, and the rest of the house was just as comfortable.
