We had a great time, Madison is beautiful and the house was wonderful. Really easy to navigate to anywhere we wanted to go. Communication was smooth with owner, would definitely stay there again.

Nice home in a great location. Our host was easy to work with and very graciously gave my sister-in-law a picture he had in the kitchen that she loved. So kind of him and went above and beyond. Updated kitchen and beautiful wood floors throughout. The three bedrooms are huge, large enough that oversized chairs for a seating area could be added and there would still be plenty of space. We visit Madison several times a year but this is our first stay in Joey’s (Mabel’s Place) but I’m sure it won’t be the last.

We took an extended weekend siblings trip to Madison. We really enjoyed our trip. Joseph responded quickly to any questions. Beds we're very comfortable and the rooms we're good size. Located within walking distance of Main Street shops and restaurants. We would certainly return to this lovely house for future trips.

In town for a wedding weekend. This house is in a great location. It’s a historic home that has had various renovations over the years. Definitely has the Madison charm. The house had what we needed, and was a much more affordable than a hotel for two nights. Would stay again!

Very torn about the review. This is a charming old house in a charming old town & neighborhood with a great parking space. It was very clean and the linens were good. The kitchen was equipped with the essentials. But wish we had known the main floor has different levels. A good size step up & down to the kitchen and then up & down to the main bathroom. Had 75 yr old with us and was concerned about this at night. Also poor water pressure in the downstairs shower.

House was clean. Plenty of towels. Kitchen was well stocked and we appreciated the extra snacks and water in the fridge. Only complaint was the showers. The upstairs shower would not get hot. The downstairs shower was lacking water pressure.

Gorgeous renovated old home right in the heart of Madison. Easy access to Kentucky over the bridge. The house was perfect and large. The only issue we had was the water pressure being very low. Showers and filling a bath for the kiddo took a very long time. Other than that we enjoyed Madison and the house very much!

Our stay was wonderful! Check-in was quick and easy, and the host was very responsive and helpful throughout our visit. The home was spotless, comfortable, and exactly as described. This was the perfect place for our Mom’s weekend getaway! The three of us each had our own room which was a huge bonus. The home had historic charm, was well equipped with kitchen supplies, plenty of bath towels, water bottles stocked in the fridge, etc. It was also very clean which is a must in my opinion. The host nailed the hospitality!
