Little Bit of Paradise

Travel over the river and through the woods to a little bit of vintage Colorado paradise! Located right off Highway 285, on the grounds of the Bailey Lodge and Riverdale Village in Bailey, Colorado is the Little Bit Lodge, with the Pike National Forest right in the backyard. Enjoy a quiet respite only an hour from Denver, in this one bedroom, one bath lodge. It can accommodate kids with two additional cots. It has a full kitchen to allow cooking or you can enjoy Bailey's restaurants just two miles down the road. The central location enables you to easily visit Conifer, Evergreen, Georgetown, Breckenridge, and Kenosha Pass to see fall colors. Bailey is a joy itself, a true unspoiled original mountain town. Nearby hiking, zipline, camping, and don't miss the beauty of Wellington Lake. Amenities at the lodge include outdoor community pool in the summertime, 11 acres to explore, playground, community BBQ and picnic gazebo, the Platte River, and a catch and release fishing pond. Enjoy this beautiful resort mountain environment as a quick getaway from the city for some rest and relaxation or an outdoor adventure. Or you can just sit on the porch and stare at the beautiful mountain scenery while listening to the river and smelling clean pine scented air. You can have a picnic on your private picnic table in the front yard. You will not be disappointed in this little bit of Colorado paradise!

This property is excellent for our needs. It is located right on 285 so we did not have to worry about snow on the mountain roads. We noticed that the inside decor has been changed up. Nice touch for us since we have stayed multiple times. Thanks for the new privacy blinds. It is a quiet area and the neighbors are friendly. Will book again.

Cute place, very cozy. Loved the fireplaces and fluffy blankies! Everything was very clean. Well stocked with food, games and puzzles, and the kitchen was the most well apportioned we have ever had at a rental. We had a great time.

Perfect spot for visits to Gaunella and Kenosha Pass. Cute little place, perfect for a couple. The little village it’s situated in is full of friendly people and dogs. This was our 2nd time here.

Great location for hiking so if you want to access trails this is the location. Plan to get groceries before you arrive due to limited nearby.

We love this place. This is our fourth or fifth time staying here. It is completely furnished with everything you need for a great visit to Bailey. Right off of Highway 85. Mountain views are great. The small neighborhood has a pool. The children play ground is right outside the front door. Everyone is nice to you. Planning our next visit now.

We had a great 2 night stay at the cabin near Bailey. Communication with Linda was great and the check in was super easy. It was well stocked, lots of fun decor and very peaceful. Nice and clean. We would definitely stay again.

A Little Bit of Heaven.

The cabin was charming and delightful. It was well stocked with all the amenities and more! It was clean, comfortable, had good views of the mountains, and the location made it easy to visit numerous locations. I will definitely stay there again when I go back to Colorado.

Bailey Birthday Getaway

My son wanted to go to a cabin in the mountains for his birthday. We found Little Bit Lodge and it was beyond perfect! Lots of space and activities on the property for a kid to run around, close to the charming town of Bailey and nice hiking, and the house itself was cozy and comfortable. The house had everything we needed and more. The adults enjoyed relaxing in the mountains while the kids enjoyed freedom to expore and play.

Birthday getaway!

I decided I needed a getaway weekend with my daughters and to come see my best friend that lives in conifer and works at Craft Mt brewery for my birthday. This little cabin was perfect. Not to far from the brewery and her house and we were able to head down to Denver without to far of a drive. Super cute cabin the bed is amazing! This was perfect for the 3 of us. Thank you so much!!

Great get away

The cabin was comfy and cozy. It was such a relaxing and peaceful getaway spot. The scenery and Mountain View’s were spectacular. Our host was very helpful when needed and met all our requests. We enjoyed all the puzzles, movies, books & magazines, games, and activity books provided.

Cutest Little Getaway

We loved staying at this cozy cottage. The location was beautiful and the cottage itself was adorable. It was very clean and organized. We loved that they had everything for cooking and cleaning. They also had a variety of games and things to do. The neighbors were all very friendly. One of our favorite things was having breakfast on their picnic table on the lake. Highly recommend.

I am a retired school teacher, having a rewarding career of 40 years of teaching in Rocky Ford, Fort Morgan, and Aurora, Colorado. I have always been interested in the tourism industry and have decided to share my sweet little lodge in Bailey, Colorado with travelers. It is a cozy respite from the city and a return to nature is so refreshing. A stay in the mountains is good for the soul! I hope you enjoy your stay! Linda

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

Little Bit Lodge is my privately owned little piece of mountain paradise. It is next to the Bailey Lodge and is located in the residential side of Riverdale Village. Several of the residential units are short term rentals, some are long term rentals, and some are lived in year round. It is a sweet and welcoming community. There are always guests at the Bailey Lodge, so it is perfect for short term rentals.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

Enjoy the eleven acre grounds, the sounds of the river, BBQ and picnic area; the communal yard and flowers. (Please note, the outdoor swimming pool is not available summer of 2026, but there is an indoor public pool at the high school just down the road.) A short walk will take you to the North Fork of the South Platte River or the catch and release fishing pond. Great location right on HWY 285 will take you on many day trips to neighboring mountain towns. The historic old Colorado town of Bailey is only two miles away, a true Colorado gem!
