Come relax or be adventurous during your stay in this newly remodeled historic home in the beloved South Broadway neighborhood. This is the perfect location for a true Helena experience! Spencer Street is nestled between 4 trailheads and within minutes of downtown's breweries and locally owned shops. This unique area of Helena is known for its closely connected quaint homes that once housed gold miners working up nearby gulches. Welcome to the neighborhood and let us know if you need anything!

This street level apartment features two bedrooms with new mattresses, a fully equipped kitchen, and great outdoor space with views of the mountains. Enjoy a personal fenced-in yard or the shared garden space with the grill and picnic table. We had fun furnishing this space with a mix of vintage and modern furniture and some of our favorite artwork and handmade lighting. Get in touch with the host if you want to know more about the artwork that fills the space or more about the local art scene!

The property was perfect, clean and well equipped. The house had everything we needed, and it was close to trails and a short walk to downtown. We look forward to staying there again in the future. Great hosts.

This property was conveniently located to our family so it worked perfectly. The hosts were also able to accommodate an extra day for us when we got snowed in and did not want to adventure across McDonald Pass. That was much appreciated

Really nice place, close to shops and food. Very quiet. Perfect for a trip that you plan on being adventurous. Not a place to go if you’re going to want to sit in the house all day. Very comfortable to come back to after a nice long hike.

Absolutely adorable...very comfortable VRBO. Bright, cool (temperature), and comfortable. Being in the heart of oldtown Helena made for easy walks/hikes - minutes from the Fire Tower and 360* views of the mountains and valley surrounding town. Thank you for making us feel welcome.

The rental was charming, in a great location, had easy parking, was well supplied, and was convenient to nearby hangout spots. Unfortunately, there were a few drawbacks. We could hear nearly everything from the upstairs unit, including the tenant and their dog, which disrupted the quiet. The tenant wasn’t noisy, but we could hear the dog playing, the water running, and every footstep.Additionally, communication with the host could have been better. We had to reach out twice to get basic check-in information that should’ve been provided automatically. Not something we wanted to stress about as we were trying to wrap things up and head out on vacation. The host has great reviews, so I assume this was just a fluke.

Nice place, just not for me

I felt the description of the property was misleading. The VRBO indicates “entire house”, yet when we check in we find out there is a long term tenant living above. Basically this is a downstairs apartment. The dryer, located behind a locked door in the living room was running when we arrived. Then we see that there is another person living in the upstairs. You could hear the walking and things rattling overhead. When there was a lot of water flushed, maybe a toilet flush, it sounded like a rush of water in the living room ceiling. The place was nicely decorated, beds were comfy, and it was clean. It’s just not a place for me.

In the heart of Helena

Loved our stay at this cute little house. Had everything we needed, the beds were super comfy, and the property was very clean. Easy walking distance to all of the sights in central Helena. Fenced yard for our dog was a bonus! Would stay again!

Perfect place for long stay/close to downtown

We went to Helena a week before our daughter's wedding and this sweet rental was perfect for our family. We loved walking to downtown, hiking and visiting the local brewpubs and restaurants. We slept well, the beds were cozy. Thank you so much!

Love this place!

Great Family Visit

I really enjoyed staying again in this historic neighborhood near downtown! The property has been nicely updated and was very comfortable, clean and cozy for our stay. There was everything we needed in the kitchen to prepare meals. The mattresses and bedding were great, so we slept well. Even with some snowy weather, it was easy to stay warm as the building is well insulated. This was my second stay here, and I would definitely stay here again next visit as I have family in the area. It's a wonderful base, and has some good memories.

Love this place

My husband and I really enjoyed staying here. The hosts were accommodating and flexible. The apartment was clean and pleasant, and I loved looking at Breena’s beautiful ceramic pieces. The location is wonderful. We enjoyed the charming ambiance of the old historic mining neighborhood and I had the most pleasant walk through the neighborhood and nearby trails in a beautiful snow storm. I would love to come back in the spring or summer when all of their flowers are in bloom.

Excellent Communication/Cleanliness/Location

Communication with/from hosts was excellent. Home was clean and cozy and stocked with all of the essentials + more. Location perfect for access to downtown/hiking trails. Only took a star off because it wasn’t clear in the listing that there was an upstairs renter
 Not a huge deal but we are light sleepers and were woken up a few times when someone walked around above us. Only other issue was the bed was SUPER loud when one of us rolled over so we kept waking each other up. Maybe not an issue for most people
. As I said, we are light sleepers so just something to note if you are too. Otherwise we would definitely stay here again!!!

Lovely space and within walking distance of downtown

The space was very nice, comfortable, and clean. I enjoyed being within walking distance of downtown and right next to trail systems up into the hill. I would definitely recommend this property.
