Great Time - MDW2025

My family and I had a wonderful time. The house is beautiful, full of amenities, and Patricia & Joe were very communicative and helpful whenever needed. We are so grateful for our experience, and definitely intend to return asap.

Cozy and Lakeside

Patricia and Joe's home is a lovely place. It's situated up the hill from Lake Wallenpaupack. The view is just beautiful. The home is well stocked and furnished. My friend and I stayed for a weekend. We found everything we needed to enjoy a weekend in - including pots and pans for cooking. There's a treasure trove of games in the trunk in the living room. The woodstove is glorious. The front porch is heated and so cozy!There were still Christmas decorations there, so we got to enjoy a little tree with lights too. TV is smart, so you can login to whatever streaming you have. It's about a 20 minute drive into Hawley, which is the nearest town/supermarket.The road to the house is a little steep, and my little Honda had some trouble getting up the hill on the ice to depart, but we made it!The owners were great with communication. They made our stay very easy and comfortable.**The only thing I'd suggest to improve would be the twin mattresses. They're all pretty dated and uncomfortable.

Family Getaway

We had an amazing stay at the lake. The house was welcoming and fit our family of 5 very nicely. We enjoyed walking to the lake, paying games at the large dining table and spending time on the deck. The views of the lake were incredible! It was a true getaway from our busy lives. Thank you!

Anniversary celebration

Beautiful view of the lake which was only a brief walk to the shoreline. The house is clean and comfortable with a wonderful deck and firepit. Communication with the hosts was excellent.

Enjoyable time

New Year’s Trip

The place was beautiful. It was a short stay but I enjoyed every second of it. I even got to see some fireworks over the lake New Year’s Eve! Highly recommend!

Quiet house, really nice stay, but a little dated

Very comfortable house, lots of space. They don't supply sheets or towels without a fee so bring your own (this info isn't very clear in the listing). Mattresses are somewhat old but the master bedroom bed is OK. Decent view of the lake but it's a steep walk to get down there. Very quiet location. Lots of deer! Responsive host. Really nice sun room and deck. Very calming atmosphere. Comfortable couches and chairs. Tons of kitchen tools but all were fairly old, but still functional.

Perfect Setting

Nice quite wood setting. You are in a nice calm cove, we kayaked and paddle boarded from the beach. You can drive down and unload, within 25 yards of the beach. We kept them there at the beach the entire week. Perfect 4th of July week!

Wonderful lake home

Well-maintained home, beautiful views down to the lake, and a nice outdoor area with a fire pit, which our group thoroughly enjoyed. Easy communication with the hosts who were extremely helpful. We would definitely recommend to others!

Friend Getaway

Cozy and Magical

3 generation getaway

This was a great cozy weekend get away for myself, husband our youngest son and my parents. While our other children are off at college this was a perfect location to spend quality time with our youngest. I love being able to cook home made food and the kitchen was amply supplied with utensils and cookware. I was delighted to find a waffle maker! We loved making s'mores on the fire out side while taking in a view of the lake.

My wife and I really enjoyed our weekend get away at the Lorenzo's lake house. The home was clean and surpassed our expectations. Joe and Patricia were friendly and replied quickly to txt messages providing information that made our stay more pleasurable such as recommendations on restaurants.

Wonderful Gettaway!

This is a very comfy cozy home on the beautiful lake Wallenpaupack. (Yes I can now spell it but still can’t pronounce it) The owners have literally everything you will need as far as kitchen items! The appliances are all modern. The hosts are so responsive and helpful. The only thing I would suggest is updated mattresses for the beds. We loved the area and had a great time!
