Peaceful relaxing and fun

please read everything here and what we offer. We have a on property pond stocked. Near downtown but far enough to be peaceful. So many activities that surround us. Great America is a hr away. The cute town of Uranus is 30 min away there is a tiger sanctuary on hwy 44 35 min away. So many things to do. Mark Twain national forest current river some of the best trout fishing is so close. Also fugitive beach is only 20 min away. Cliff diving, water slides so much
We also have a portable stove top with pans for cooking Vrbo don’t let us put that there. There is great cell service on our property. Can go blackberry picking when the season starts through out property. There is no light pollution as you can see the stars as bright as they can be. Again don’t forget to read we have 2 single beds in room a normal couch and love seat. I guess Vrbo doesn’t explain very well lol.

My husband and son loved catching fish in the pond on the property and the stars were incredible! Cabin is rustic but clean and had all needed amenities for a peaceful vacation. Very short drive into town is convenient. We stayed to visit family in the area and this was a great place to lay our heads at night

Peaceful, relaxing, exciting with beautiful nature surroundings.

This was my first cabin -camping stay vay. This was the most peaceful yet exciting place to stay. The surroundings are absolutely beautiful . The owner is very hospitable, accommodating and kind.

Cozy No Frills getaway.

A great, well priced little cabin. The lake on property has little fish that are happy to bite. Multiple beds for more than two people available if you prefer more than two twins. Great stove, air fryer, linens.

It's peaceful quiet relaxing everything was good had to go buy towels for my stay cause there wasn't any there but other then that everything was good

I was an interesting place. We enjoyed the pond. But we are used to a little bit more. It’s perfect for kids and pets. Needs lots of work to make it really nice. We didn’t stay two nights as we planned. Just not a place for us. Needs a small table and chairs in the kitchen and the closet should be usable in bedroom.

Week getaway!

Th cabin was a great place to stay for the week! The atmosphere was inviting and relaxing. The night sky is really amazing at night. Being one with nature is just the best way to describe it! I would recommend this spot to anyone !

Weekend fishing trip

My son and I stayed the weekend and went fishing at Montauk. Cabin was clean and quiet and worked perfectly for what we needed.

Awesome getaway

We had an awesome time! Came down to visit our son n his family n they came over every morning, stayed w us all day into the evening. We had bbq everyday, could watch movie at night, ride on paddle boat n go fishing. Great fire ring/ fire pit. Loved waking up in the morning n sitting on the porch n watching the birds n listening to the geese. If we come back down before we move to Missouri this is where we will stay! We brought our dog n he loved it. Lots of room to roam. Just so wonderful!! The ppl won care for the property also came by to check n see if we needed anything which was really nice of them.

This property was clean and the lake was so nice. If you are looking for a little getaway that is simple in design, this fits the bill. If you are interested in watching TV, (we were not that interested) be sure to know how to use a smart TV. Montauk State Park is not that far away if you are interested in trout fishing. There is a beautiful fire pit, so get some firewood. Also, charcoal for the grill and you’re all set:

Guys Weekend

Two friends and myself came down for opening weekend of trout season at Montauk. It wasn’t too far from the park and had a nice little lake on the property as well. Didn’t catch anything in the lake but conditions were not good, as it rained for a while prior to coming down and the whole county had flooding that weekend. One of us had to sleep on an air mattress, but there was plenty of room to do so, and ended up being pretty comfortable. Price was reasonable, check in and check out was super easy with the Vrbo app , and property manager was readily available for any questions that I had, and got back very promptly. Thanks for a nice weekend.

Nice little property beside a pond. house could use a little cleaning and upkeep but all in all great little place to stay. Owner is very good to work with.
