Provincetown cottage: outdoor shower,parking,two decks, pool, steps to beach.

Our cottage is exactly as our site photos and our site write up. It states 270 square ft self contained Cape cottage with many amenities including gorgeous private outdoor shower and decks. Inside it has all the comforts needed and is bright and well maintained throughout. It is a tiny house feel and our guests who read our details prior to booking then book have no concerns with the space. Throughly reading all details prior to booking is always a good idea. Our attention to maintenance, planned use of space and comfort of our small and bright quintessential Cape Cottage is often complimented by our guests. Thanks Elisabeth & Dave

Of course one should read carefully before booking any property. Our property write up is very detailed, clear and accurate. The negative and disrespectful language you used when messaging us prior to your arrival then the afternoon the day of your arrival was completely unwarranted and disrespectful. No one should be subjected to that kind of negativity. Our fee structure and cancellation policy are clearly stated in our listing. You chose to book our property, and then weeks later you took issue with the fees and cancellation policy by sending demeaning messages that frankly we chose not to engage in but to de escalate your negativity. You then proceeded to enter our cottage over 1 hour before the official stated check-in time after acknowledging you had received and read the check in details. This caused inconvenience with our cleaning staff. We respect their work and their set timelines and you did not. We still kindly offered you an invitation to cut some lavender for your own enjoyment, and you instead cut several bouquets of the other flowers from our entire garden - this was not appropriate. Our cottage is as shown on the site. It is small, bright, clean, close to a beautiful Bay beach and in a lovely community. We take great pride of our place and it shows throughout. You demanded a free use of a bicycle and an ocean beach parking pass and that was clearly nowhere indicated in our write up. When we tried to offer you money saving suggestions on where you could rent a bike or purchase a pass your response was completely disrespectful and unwarranted. We appreciate guests who care about treatment of our special place and respectful communication.

These guests were still at the cottage well after check out time when our cleaning staff called us with concerns because they were on a strict schedule and unable to enter the cottage. We reached out to guests to notify them our staff was patiently waiting over 20 min Guests said they were gone when in fact they were still at the cottage.After late check out cleaning staff entered and were overwhelmed with a full sink of dirty pots , cups, glasses, and dishes which is guests responsibility to clean up departure according to our check out rules and instructions. There were also many kitchen items missing upon our staff doing regular check and cleaning. Cutlery, cooking knives, bowl and broken ice cube trays which were all present, and in tact prior to their arrival. This was very concerning & disrespectful, Unacceptable and rude frankly. We reached out via message asking if perhaps these items were packed mistakenly giving them the benefit of an explanation. They ignored. Our staff do not deserve to walk into a massive mess and our property deserves respect as well. Our cleaning staff should also not have to wait and delay their schedule. During their stay and in our guest book these’ guests raved about how wonderful their stay was until they were held accountable for their disrespectful care of our cottage. We welcome respectful guests. Our staff deserve respect as does our property care and items in our cottage.This behaviour is not welcome. Elisabeth and Dave

So glad you enjoyed our quaint Provincetown Cottage! Our outdoor shower is spectacular in the sun & under the stars! Our bed is a Sealy Posturepedic Firm High Quality mattress and may not be to everyone’s personal taste. Sofa beds are either great sofas or great beds and we chose what we felt fit the space with our best intention of being both. Spending most of your time outdoors is what The Cape is all about and we’re glad you found our place in a great location, close to town & stunning beaches, well equipped & enjoyed your stay.
