Comfy apartment downtown SJ

Comfortable one-bedroom apartment in a renovated Victorian villa two blocks from downtown SJ. One free parking spot. Walking distance to shops, bars, and restaurants, easy access to public transport, direct light rail to Levi's Stadium.

The space
This is a separate unit in a recently renovated Victorian villa. It comprises a living room with a window decorated with the original Victorian wood edging, a kitchen, a bedroom with a queen-size bed and an office desk, and a bathroom with a shower. The sofa in the living room can be converted into a full-sized bed. The apartment is situated on the second floor, up one flight of stairs. There is one reserved parking space available in the backyard of the house.
The house is cooled with high-power portable ACs during the day plus a house fan in the evening and overnight. We have just updated instructions for use for our guests to make sure the apartment is kept cool, as we have recently had guests who were accidentally heating up the house by using the fan during the day, while simultaneously trying to cool it down with the AC.

Guest access
You will be inhabiting your own unit and are guaranteed complete privacy. We live in another unit in the same house. I am happy to help in any way I can to make your visit as comfortable as possible, so please do ask.

Other things to note
Events: It is always expected that you communicate your plans clearly with the host in advance, particularly if you plan on using the unit for anything other than staying the night for the guests stated on the booking. We have hosted many successful gatherings in the apartment with no problems. If your plans involve having 5-6 friends round for a few drinks before going to a game, or hosting a cards evening, or something similar, that is ok. However, loud parties are not permitted. We will enforce quiet hours between 10pm and 8am. If you are planning on having over 10 people round for drinking during quiet hours do not book with us. We will remove guests that have loud parties after 10pm. If your plans involve use of drugs, expect immediate expulsion.
