Welcome to the West side of Oahu where the sunsets are amazing and the beaches are serene! The is one bedroom one bath condo is available for nightly rental. You can also rent the adjoining unit and open both units up into one large 2 bedroom, 2 bath suite.

Located right on the beach, you will enjoy all this gem has to offer. Everything you need is here for you to enjoy your stay, Unit is fully equipped with linens, beach gear, kitchenware, etc. The unit has AC in bedroom only.

Enjoy hiking trails, whale watching, fishing, dolphin tours right here on the West Coast. Near grocery, eateries, tennis, and much more! There are 2 big grocery stores, restaurants and fast food, as well as a nearby gym (Planet Fitness).

Make Makaha your next vacation spot .... you wont regret it!

The view and the beach were the best I've ever stayed at which is reflected in the rating. The unit is older and was missing a few necessities (no shampoo/conditioner). If you are ok with a unit and city not being 5 star you will be pleased with the view and the beach. Spectacular and quiet.

Amazing views and comfortable stay

The condo unit is as advertised, right on the beach with amazing views of the ocean. Although the unit was a little bit dated, it had all the necessary things to make your stay comfortable. The best way to reach the property manager is through a phone call before and during your stay.

We love it here! The beach and views are beautiful and it’s also quiet. We like the option of the pool as well.

The fact that the unit lacks air conditioning other than a portable unit in the bedroom makes it hard to stay in during the day. The sun shines directly into the apartment in the afternoon. Even in the evening the apartment is hard to cool because there is no cross breeze.The apartment was in acceptable shape, nothing special. The building is quiet. The beach at the bottom of the building has a short, steep dune to get to the water, but it is easy to walk down the beach a bit to a place with easier access.

Excellent beach location

Loved this beach front property. Amazing sunset views, clean condo with all basic supplies, free parking and plenty of it in a gated condo community. Country and small town Hawaii on Oahu.

The private beach was a breath taking! Our view from our balcony was fabulous. The view is spectacular. Our room had some beach accessories Communication with our host was sadly lacking. I had asked if the room came with Beach accessories, and received no answer. The microwave was extremely old and did not work. hot water runs out before five minutes is up in the bath shower I had to pay a cleaning fee and yet had to take my own trash out at the end of the time and had to put sheets and towels by the washing machine. Batteries in the TV remote were dead and that was the only time our host communicated back with us. Thank goodness my husband had some extras in his backpack so we could replace them. The pictures made the place look much bigger than it actually was The carpet in the bedroom was old The bed was very hard, and the pillows were flat. Check-in was the biggest hassle. Security sent us to the timeshare location, timeshare location sent us back to security. It was also extremely remote and at the farthest away from everything. An hour drive to the airport and an hour and a half drive to North Shore. The hosts were no help when it came to suggesting things to do in the area Our Turo Car host were extremely helpful with things to do, but not these hosts. All in all paying 1600 dollars for this location for 4 nights was way overpriced. The only thing worth staying here was the private beach and the beautiful view.

The view!

The view from this property was amazing!! The beach was our main focus and it did not disappoint!we had a problem with the door lock & the management company responded quickly to solve the issue. The property itself is in dire need of a deep clean and renovation and has all basic necessities. We enjoyed our stay.

Nice view to the beach. Pool great. Going out to thr point you have camping or homeless. In our condo bar stools dirty under cushions. One chair coshion wore totally out. Carpet goi g into bedroom was digusting.

Beautiful beach views

The beach couldn’t be any nicer. The views are amazing. Beach seems so private and not busy at all. The unit was nice but needs some updates done. Staff was very nice.

We were away from the crowds at Waikiki and Honolulu. The local beach was never crowded and the views from our lanai was great. The staff and security were friendly and helpful and we never felt rushed. On the down side, the walls are a little thin and could have been a distraction but we had no neighbors until just prior to our check out.

Worth the drive

I’ve stayed here a couple times. I drive the extra miles because I like the quiet area and west-facing beach. Property has brand new washer and dryer but really old screen door that needs replacing.

A good location and a passable apartment

As advertised, the unit was on the beach and the building personnel were genial. The unit managers however were uncommunicative and I would suggest the renter find someone else. The unit itself was fine but in need of some updating. The screen door needs to be replaced. The shower could be updated as could the refrigerator. Our stay was pleasant but at those prices, we expected a bit more.

Wai!

The condo was clean, well equipped with everything that we needed, and in a wonderful complex. The pool and BBQ areas were kept up very nicely. Walking into the condo is breathtaking, as you look out past the lanai, to a beautiful beach and ocean view! There are some homeless in Waianae/Makaha area, but we felt extremely safe in the area and especially on the Hawaiian Princess property.

Electrical concerns but great beach location

Beautiful beach. Condo was run down. Only plug in bedroom wouldn't hold a plug. I then used the plug in the bathroom mirror and my plug got very hot so I ended up unplugging the microwave and using that plug. Condo included one broken beach chair,which was replaced by realtor when we informed them. It seemed like a lot of money for such a run down place but that being said we had a great time on the balcony and beach and it was a great ending to our trip to paradise.

Beachy Getaway

You may have found yourself looking at this property and reading this review because you want to stay ON THE BEACH… This property will fulfill that want. HOWEVER, the space you’re renting had some issues. Firstly, Air Conditioning is only available in the bedroom and keeps that single room cool, however the rest of the condo did get downright hot in the afternoon sunshine. Secondly, the owners/managers do not seem to care/invest in this space. Some examples are: downright stained/overused carpet in the bedroom, no handles on the refrigerator, broken accordion closet door and the screen door to the lanai as well as the glass doors are old and worn. There were two beach chairs, towels and umbrella for your use. If you can get over these issues above, the beach and lanai provide you stupendous beach views and beach time.

Great views

The place is exactly as I read on the past reviews, we booked knowing it needs some updates here and there so it did not bother us. The views from the apartment is mesmerizing, the beach is very very nice, we kind of didn’t want to go to any other beaches. The neighborhood is a bit catchy, lots of homeless but we had been to Makaha before so It also didn’t surprise us. But that’s only outside of the property, once you are in and at the beach, feels like a different place. One thing that really really bothered us about the property is that the couch has a really strong sweaty smell which we could not use it at all. I would recommend either cleaning it or replacing it. No ac, just fans. It was enough for us as we don’t use ac back home but just keep that in mind. We did come well prepared for the cons so overall we loved our stay, we would stay here again even though we would love some updates. Oh let’s not forget about the sunsets! Whew! Makes it all worth it.

Private beach and excellent facilities

Previous reviews mentioned this unit is in need of some updating/ upgrading and this is absolutely true - don’t stay in this unit if you’re hoping for the four seasons. However, we didn’t pick this property for what’s on the inside, we stayed because of what’s on the outside. The beachfront view is breathtaking. The pool and hot tub are kept immaculate. The beach had fun waves to play in some days and calm gentle floaters others. All of the residents of the building are exceptionally friendly and welcoming. The unit had everything we needed for cooking. Several ice trays and an ice bucket where sufficient for our group of 4. The towels where largely on the older side but sufficient. The electrical outlets and lightbulbs decided when they did and did not want to work but we got by. The living room has a sleeper sofa and while the mattress is pretty thin it wasn’t too bad (most nights we were too dead tired to care what we were sleeping on). Plenty of space for 4 adults to sit and hangout during the bit of rain we got and brand new washer/dryer which we used A LOT and was great. For the price and the view alone you just can’t beat it. This community is a hidden gem 10/10 will come back to Hawaiian princess for every Oahu trip in the future.

We had a great vacation on Oahu with this rental as our home base. The view from the lanai was amazing! If you want to be far from the hustle and bustle of Waikiki/Honolulu (which is what we were looking for), then this is an excellent choice. We really liked the sandy, picturesque beach that we had access to right in front of our condo. It was great for relaxing on the sand, swimming, and snorkeling (we didn't snorkel, but others were). The unit was equipped with a decent amount of beach gear (umbrella, towels, flotation devices, snorkeling gear). The pool and hot tub were nice to have on site, especially for relaxing after a busy day out and about on the island. The unit itself was small but comfortable for two people. We appreciated having a washer / dryer right in the unit. We did notice that sound traveled through the mirrored wall very easily (we could literally hear conversations word for word through the wall). The only major complaint was the wifi - it was awful! Our devices (phones, ipad) would almost never connect to it. The host was good to talk to on the phone (directly), but wasn't very responsive via text (on the VRBO site). Everything went smoothly, but it would have been nice to have my questions answered via text without having to try and call. There are homeless in the area be we weren't bothered by them in the least. We always felt very secure in the building. The security and resort staff were very friendly and helpful. Mahalo! :)

The cute and cozy unit, the views, the employees, the sunsets, and the sound of the waves crashing at night.... Perfect!! I live in Waianae and this was the perfect staycation for me, my husband and my family who rented another unit at Princess. Mahalo to Ingas Realty. We'll be back!!

Family Vacation

Property is great, security and everyone is so kind. It is kept clean and tidy all the time which is nice. So many regular visitors to chat with also. Unit we stayed in (603) was a bit dirty like their cleaning folks are being very over paid. Only half of the power outlets work which is kind of a pain. The ability to walk out to the beach from your unit is amazing, views are awesome and overall we loved the stay!
