Happy Harbor w Hot Tub, Golf Cart and Luxury!

Welcome to Port Sanilac Michigan & Happy Harbor! As you enter the house your first word will be “WOW”. We spent 5 months completely remodeling this house. Regardless of how nice your home is this will live up to your standards. The craftsmanship of the improvements from the tile work, to the extensive shiplap, to the decorations. You will fall in love with this home and the downtown! Take the golf cart out to explore the downtown or relax in the hot tub! (please note: golf cart available mid-april through Nov 1st)


Dogs are welcome with an arrangement upon booking! They must stay off of the furniture, on a leash when outside, feces picked up and treated for the prevention of fleas and ticks. You must request permission BEFORE making your reservation to bring your dog(s). There is an extra fee to bring your pets.

It's in a quiet neighborhood, 3 blocks from downtown Port Sanilac.

Downtown is within walking distance, however, there is an 8-seater golf cart there for our guests to utilize! No extra charge

- Dog(s) are allowed but you must get permission first before you rent this cottage. HOUSE RULES:

- No more than 3 cars on site
ï»żï»żï»ż- Do NOT park on road or in neighbors' way!
ï»ż- All furniture must be put back where it is found!
ï»żï»żï»ż- No Shoes on while inside the home
- Quiet hours are from 11 PM to 8 AM
- Dog(s) must stay off of the furniture, on a leash when outside, feces picked up and treated for the prevention of fleas and ticks. Please sweep up/vacuum dog hair and dispose of prior to your departure. There is an additional fee to bring your dog(s).
- Please respect our neighbors by not having loud music or by yelling and using profanity (many are permanent residents!)

- Please note: RVs, tents, and campers are not permitted at our homes. Failure to comply will result in applicable fees.

We had a great stay and would definitely recommend this accommodation. One thing that really stood out was how well equipped it was from the kitchen having plenty of dishes, cookware, and utensils, which made holiday cooking easy and meant we didn’t have to bring our own items.The mattresses were very comfortable, and there were lots of pillows, towels, and bedding provided, which made the stay feel extra cozy and convenient. The backyard area was another highlight, especially the lighting at night and while we did not have an opportunity to use the hot tub that was a great addition too and created a really nice atmosphere.Overall, the space was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully set up. We’d happily stay here again!

This home was a beautifully renovated space that served as a perfect get-away for our family and pets! The property managers of this home were incredibly communicative and made preparation for our stay and the check-in/out process a breeze.

Beautiful home inside. Video game and golf cart was amazing. Peaceful neighborhood. I texted twice with no response just letting them know can opener was broke, wash machine was very loud and clothes were not even close to wet when putting in the dryer. Also their is an ant problem in the kitchen. That got into all of our open snacks. We checked out a day early. I never got a response so just make sure these have been fixed. Unless of course you like a little protein.

I had a fun time here. The golf cart was nice. The beds were very comfortable. Hot tub was 104. And it was nice to have a fire at night. My kids liked the arcade table.

Just book it!

What a fun little get away! Kitchen was beyond stocked. Everything was very clean!! Bedrrom were good size and mattress were so comfortable. There was just 3 of us but plent of room for more!!! The gold cart is such a fun addition when renting this house!

Week day get away

Enjoyed are stay very much. Wish we had more time to explore. Only negative things I could think of was no ice or ice trays and no tv in master bedroom. On the positive side the master bedroom bed was great, slept very good and the hot tub was great. Didn’t get to use the golf cart was to cold. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

A pleasant-ish stay

It was a great property. We ran into a few issues due to the snow storm but other than that. The hot tub was great and the arcade machine was a lot of fun. Overall a good experience and the area is not the greatest for anyone as a minority. My significant other had some uncomfortable looks and conversations due to that. My only gripe with the location.was this and it had nothing to do with the property just the city.

Great Stay!

The location is perfect—just a short distance from town. The hot tub was amazing. While we didn’t get to use the golf cart due to the weather, I’d imagine it’s a great perk in warmer months!We had dinner at Stone Lodge down the road, and the food was good. We also stopped by Alli Bar for a drink, which was a really cool, eclectic spot.My only MINOR concern was that the house could use a more thorough cleaning. While everything was clean on the surface, I noticed some gum under the table, a bit of debris under the couch, and the window sills could use some dusting. Other than that, everything was great! :)

Nice place but not clean

The house was cute and close to the lake. The hot tub was great. Beds are comfortable . Wifi adequate.The bummer was that it was not cleaned very well and not stocked with basics ( like measuring cups, foil or plastic wrap or enough toilet paper for the entire stay) We had to clean out the fridge before we could put food away in it, rewash quite a few dishes as there was food on them still ( even though they were put away in the cupboard as if they were clean). The dishwasher smelled like something died in there so I cleaned it thoroughly, removing candy wrappers and chunks of food in the drain. There was a full dryer of linens that smelled so moldy I had to rewash them. On top of that the fridge would randomly start beeping even though the door was closed.. We believe the sensor was broken.. we did let owner know who quickly rained they were looking into it. I am not OCD with cleaning, just expect a bit more especially for such a steep cleaning fee.

Perfect Getaway

We used this space for a reunion of some friends. It was cozy for a quick getaway. The area was quite yet conveniently located near town. We'll for sure utilize this space again in the future.

Great weekend getaway

The house was perfect for our short girls weekend trip. Plenty of beds and very clean. We had a little trouble with the hot tub but the host was quick to answer our messages. Close to the beach and marina and great coffee place on the corner. It had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend this property.

Stargazers Paradise

We had an amazing stay! We soaked in the hot tub and watched the northern lights, meteor showers, and vivid night sky. There was little to no light pollution, and everything was gorgeous!

Wonderful family vacation

This was a fantastic house close to downtown. Our extended family enjoyed playing cards and the Pac-Man machine as well as socializing in the spacious living area. We enjoyed the hot tub each day and the golf cart was great for quickly getting to dining, pickleball, and the harbor. The house was well-provisioned. And Jessie was great with communication. We would definitely return to this vacation house!

Beautiful little home

My daughters and I decided last minute to take a little break for my youngest daughters and I's birthday. They chose this cute little home and it was cute and simply beautiful. We didnt get a chance to use the golf cart, but utilized the hottub while we were there. Note than pleased with the size of the place and the quite neighborhood. Highly rate this place in this cute little town. Thank you!
