POOL INFO

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention say there is no evidence that the coronavirus that causes COVID-19 can spread through the water in pools, hot tubs, spas, or water play areas. Proper operation and maintenance (including disinfecting with chlorine and bromine) of these facilities should inactivate the coronavirus in the water.

That being said, to ensure the health and safety of all around, we must make a few changes.   Currently, the Florida Governor suggests limiting groups to no more than 10 people.   Also, the CDC encourages all to practice social distancing of 6 feet and respect other people’s space.  

For the beach and lounge chairs, we suggest disinfecting before and after use.  Maison Matecumbe is a residential condo complex and not a resort, so it is up to the guest to self sanitize and use their best judgement.   Alternatively, guests can bring their own personal lounge chairs.  Personal lounge chairs are not to be left out and must be brought back in when not in use.
