Dreaming of the perfect getaway? This beautiful condo makes your stay comfortable & relaxing! Enjoy sunset views from this second floor unit at Maravilla's Jewell By The Sea. We are offering HUGE discounts while construction is being done outside of the units in this area. The Maravilla and Jewell by the Sea is great even with construction nearby! This spacious 1 bedroom condo actually sleeps 6 guests with extra arrangements including built-in bunk beds and a pull-out couch. Jewell By The Sea offers guests a fully stocked kitchen with plenty of dishes and utensils. A large walk-in shower will await you after a long day at the beach, along with other amenities to make your stay carefree, including beach towels! Maravilla has 3 pools, a hot tub, lush landscaping, volleyball area. Cool ocean breezes and beautiful sunsets are just part of the experience. Free WiFi and Direct TV so you can stay as connected as you want. "Jewell By The Sea" is definitely the place to be to kick up your feet and experience the best that Galveston Island has to offer! There may be some variations in furnishings or decor since pictures were taken.

You are welcome to bring a one small pet (under 25 lbs.) (Non-aggressive breeds only.) $100 non-refundable pet fee. GUESTS MUST CONTACT OUR OFFICE UPON RESERVATION IF BRINGING A PET. No cats allowed.

Due to the ongoing construction and in the interest of Safety, the Maravilla business office will be located in unit 121. This is where you will need to go to pay your parking.
Although we love guests of all ages, you MUST be at least 25 years old to rent Jewell By The Sea. A parking fee must be paid to Maravilla office upon arrival. The office does not accept cash. Parking Rules and prices are as follows:
1) Parking Rates will be set at $10.00 per car per day PLUS Sales tax
2) Trailers (Motorcycle) will be charged the same rate as cars and are limited to special event weekends such as Biker Rally Weekend. No other time are trailers of any sort allowed to be parked at Maravilla.
3) Per day rates will be capped after $70.00 per 30 day time period, and the per day rate will start over again on the 31st day.

All fees and services are subject to 15% state tax. We welcome our guests and work diligently to make their experience memorable. However, we only rent to adults over the age of 25 and families. A photo copy of identification of main renter is required prior to arrival of stay.

Great stay but the construction on the second day of our stay was very loud with construction

Good Stay but construction on the second day started at 8 with loud music and drilling and they worked until 9 at night playing loud music.

Good location

Overall it was a great stay. Only downfall was we were right by the part of the condos that was under construction and the elevators didnt work.

Beach Time

The place was great. We loved the easy access to the beach and how pet friendly it was. Only disappoint was all the construction happening on the outside of the building and the elevator was out of order.

Beach time

Had a great time and relaxation. Place was under construction but nothing annoying. Rooms were updated and fantastic with everything we needed. Bed was so comfy as well and great view of beach from our balcony to enjoy a cup of coffee in am or anytime. Nice walk to places as well If you don’t want to drive

Great place to stay

This was a great place to stay. Close to the ocean and a wonderful view from the balcony. Very clean and just as great as they said it was. Would definitely stay here again.

Cute, well decorated beachy condo. Walking distance to the beach right across the street. Great view! Had a great time and even brought our doggies. Dog park was handy too.

Amazing views

Amazing views and great balcony. Complex pools were great. It’s nice that the complex is further down Seawall Drive away from the major traffic that is closer to the pier. Complex is under construction, not disclosed in listing. If you are coming from out of town, you will need beach towels. We needed to purchase additional paper towels and toilet paper to accommodate our party of 5. There were 6 bath towels provided for Friday check in - Monday check out, so we washed them everyday to have fresh dry towels.

The trip was very enjoyable and if I had time I would plan several times every year at this location. Friendly management onsite an easy parking and access to condo was outstanding. Only upgrade would be a butler to move in and out - carts were available to manage the absence. Beach across the highway - great. If they would put in a ramp on the seawall - I'd say outstanding. The view of the gulf of mexico was a wonderful way to wake up each day. The condo was clean but the Wifi didn't work nor the disgwasher along with gym was close the whole week we stayed.

Small but big for price

Pros, condo is beside the elevator, ad says bunk bed and king bed same room,not so. Bunk bed is in hall. There is a pull out couch. Bare minimum in kitchen. Overall it is like a hotel

Beach View Condo

Overall I wouldn’t advise against staying here I am just being honest about my experience. When we arrived there was no toilet paper in the condo. I did choose to just buy some myself instead of contacting management, seemed easier and quicker. There is no closet space in this condo. There is one small closet in the bedroom but it is filled with random items. One of those items was a dog bed and it made the whole closet smell of urine. Thankfully when the door was closed the smell did not linger outside of the closet. The building management is nice, you check in with them and pay $10 a day to park. The view was lovely! It worked out okay for my husband and I but I cannot imagine sleeping more than two people in that space, it would be tight. I wanted to mention I contacted the rental company prior to checkin and they were very kind and responsive. Overall I would consider price and other properties but if there was nothing else would stay here again, just pack my own toilet paper.

Wonderful Visit!

Had a wonderful trip, everything was as expected. There was construction, but it didn’t bother us. Nice to wake up and enjoy your coffee gazing at the ocean. We stayed with our two teenaged and two dogs and had a great time. Thank you!

Close to Ocean!

We enjoyed our stay! Balcony looked over the ocean ( had 4 chairs). Condo was clean and had dishes to do some eating in. It looked like the pictures. Across the street (can be busy), is the ocean. There are rocks there but a short distance to left is sand. The non heated pool was amazing but cold for March. My kids did brave it and had a great time after they did. There is also a hot tub by this pool. The heated pool was on opposite side- had some ants. Take extra toilet paper. The outside is outdated and parking seems scary at night but we had no issues there. We would stay again!! Parking is $10 a night. You have to drive to get to restaurants.
