Short stay

We only stayed for one night, it’s as advertised. People at the hotel weee very nice during our stay. Free coffee in the morning. We stayed during the week. Very close to the beach. Great location!

Great location

Belmar is a great beach if you’re looking for a quiet place to stay. The Belmar Inn could use some updating but for the price you got exactly what you paid for and everyone was very nice. The rooms are clean and comfortable

Rooms are rough..beds are worse. No room microwave. Its a 2 minute walk to the beach, which is the biggest positive...other than that, you're getting the absolute bare minimum as far as space/comfort. As 'cheap' as it was, and it was cheaper than other places nearby..it wasnt worth what was paid.

I did not find this property acceptable. The place was run down and dingy. Blankets and towels were worn. The bathroom was tiny and shower not clean. We left after one day.

Thanks from room 309!

It was clean and inexpensive. Other guests were up late but not loud or a bother at all. We were optimistic and looking for a cheap and clean hotel. This fits the bill. AC was too loud to operate but we had good weather and were able to open a window. Even though the opening of windows is disabled, someone had already made one operable. Without the window open our stay would have been less pleasant. Found a good cup of coffee and a Taylor ham and cheese that was really good a few blocks away. Beautiful beaches and homes all around there. We will certainly stay here again. Thank you!

I had a lovely time but let me start off by saying this is NOT a vacation home. You will get a ROOM at the Belmar Inn. This page says you’ll be getting a vacation home, but that is not the case. Personally I had no problem with that, but want that to be clear so nobody who purchases a stay gets confused. I questioned the authenticity of the page because it says you’ll stay at the Belmar Inn but the Belmar Inn has its own Expedia page. I called the Belmar Inn to ask about it after I booked my stay and they said my booking did go through, but were confused as to why it said vacation home and they had no ability to change it. The staff were super friendly and helpful during this whole ordeal. I wish I got the lady at the front desks name because she was amazing. All of that aside, this is a quaint and adorable inn verrrry close to the beach. This place is a steal. Very clean and everything works as it should. They offer donuts, bagels, and coffee in the morning which was very nice. I would definitely book here again and highly recommend.

Great Location, Bad Timing

This is an older hotel that shows some wear and tear. But, it's a good place to lay your head if you are looking to be close to a beach. Labor Day Weekend meant the whole neighborhood was filled with partying college students - good for them, not for us. Lot of smoking of various types. I would imagine it would have been better on a different weekend. Also, absolutely nowhere to park.
