The place was clean and well decorated. The kitchen had all the pots and pans required to cook a great meal. The house was located very near the grocery store and liquor store. The backyard was beautiful. We would stay at this location again!

Amazing! This is my second time staying at this property and it is the perfect house for a big group that is planning to stay for an extended or short stay and need access to Lake Vermilion. It is 7 mins from the closest ramp, and 23 minutes to the Casino. Plenty of space, and hosts are incredible and easy to communicate with. This is my GO-TO spot for my Vermilion trips! Thanks again Tom and Family!

Centrally located, perfect for a group.

The home is excellent. It’s in the middle of town, 5 minutes to the coffee shop and groceries, and 10 minutes from the boat landing on the Cook end of Vermilion. Atv’s are legal on city streets, and the trail runs hundreds of miles from the front door. Excellent spot, great house, perfect.

Very nice house, clean, and easy with nice backyard and lots of room and amenities! Everything was just as represented by the owner. Such a nice house with a great setup. Cook is an awesome small community! Wonderful breakfast and lunch options at coffee shop downtown. Cool theater which we have went to before but it was closed when we were in town. Clean grocery store. Moosebirds ice cream up the road! What could be better?!?

Cozy and Clean

The stay at this property was very very nice. The home was very clean and in an area where it was assessable to the area lakes and restaurants. The surroundings offered a safe and quiet stay. The shops in the area were so much fun and there was a flea market in town so it was extra special. The host was always easy to correspond with and allowed us to check in little early so we could get started on our cousins weekend get together. I would recommend this vrbo and the area for a relaxing and comfortable stay.

Welcoming

The home was clean, bright, welcoming, and fit the exact needs for our trip. It was excellent to have the sleeping space downstairs for the father-son duo and the separation for other adults upstairs. I would absolutely recommend this property. Tom was very easy to contact and work with.

The house was clean and had everything we needed. It is however about 20 feet from the side of the town hospital/clinic. Which was not in any photos or description. Lacked privacy which could easily be resolved with a fence. Otherwise it was a great spot!

Great house lots of room

Three friends stayed at this house. We each had our own bedroom with room for more people! All the beds were comfortable. Large living room and kitchen. Another living area in basement that we did not use. We did use the washer and dryer and the internet all worked perfectly! We were able to easily control the temperature of the house which was great because we went from needing air conditioning to needing heat. Overall a great house and great location with lots of room for more people than we had in our group! We would stay here again!

Lovely, comfortable home.

Perfect for our needs during our trip. Super clean, comfortable, and quiet. Nicely decorated. One piece of word art on a wall even gave me some courage and inspiration for a coming change in our lives. Nice place for people with children, because it has a big yard and a lower level living area, in addition to the main floor. TV has Sling, and we couldn't figure out how to tune in a basketball playoff game. So we used a cable we brought with us to hook our smartphone to the TV and stream the game from an App on our phone. We enjoyed our stay here.

A complete home to stay while vacation for relaxing

The house itself located just a few blocks from highway 53. The inside is clean and organized with ping pong table whichs what the kids enjoyed the most. The only issue we had is that my wife had to boil water for bath on the first night because there was an issue with the water heater. Also, Tom looked to be quite busy himself with no time to get back to us on time and his helper did not have enough time to cut grass both in front and back yards. Everything else was great… the dish, silverware, refrigerator, dishwasher, and kitchen table were good perfect for a family or families to stay and enjoy.

You notified me of the water heater issue at 10:38pm(I was already asleep) … I responded at 6:30am when I awoke…. and had the issue resolved by 7am…you may not feel that was timely but it was the best I could do… I gave you two stars because you dismantled my water heater without putting anything back…Left a plate of food underneath one of the beds…Got into our storage room and got out my kids school trumpet and other items that you left out…. I’m glad you were able to set up the ping-pong table downstairs but you could’ve put things away instead of leaving it all out for my cleaner to pick up and put back…I don’t know what was going on in the laundry room as everything in there was rearranged and just left out. That room was a disaster. I’ve always taught my kids to put away their games and toys when they’re done playing with them but I guess not everybody does that…one of many things my cleaner had to pick up after you guys left. All of our previous renters I’ve given five stars and we would gladly welcome back, but not you guys.

Enjoyable, but

Need some repairs and improvements: Outside: the deck has boards raised above the deck more than a quarter inch. Weeds growing through the steps and others should be trimmed out. some black mold on the deck chairs. Inside was very nice, but faucet in the kitchen need repair- hard to shut off completely. The stairway to basement had no railing which surprised us. Its a good comfortable property, but could an excellent property. We did enjoy it! Thank you
