Stone’s Throw is a cozy beach hideaway just a 1 minute walk to a stunning beach visible from the front yard. Boasting a private, covered, tropical front patio perfect for morning coffee or a cool drink after a day at the beach , and a bright back patio for some extra sunshine! Stroll 285 feet to a wooden walk beach entrance and behold a long stretch of sand and sea to the left and right. Walk to a wide variety of shops and restaurants, including Pleasure Island's favorite Ocean Grill & Tiki Bar!
Stone’s Throw is the lower unit of two completely separate units at the property.

A stones throw

We had a wonderful weekend at this great house. It was clean, well stocked was just perfect for us. Has a great little courtyard in back perfect for your pet. The host was very communicative and had everything all in order. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfection!

Perfection is all I can say for our stay this weekend! As soon as I opened the door and walked inside, I was absolutely in love! The house layout is spacious and feels so cozy! It's so cute and we absolutely loved it! The location was absolutely perfect and we enjoyed being so close to the beach to walk and enjoy the nearby Tiki bar and the short and beautiful walk back! Rich was the absolute best host from start to finish and extremely responsive! I can't wait to come back soon and spend some extended time at the place!!!

Beautiful & Restfull

We stayed 5 nights here and enjoyed every moment. This house is exactly as described and is very comfortable. The bed was very comfy! Bathroom pictures are exact and the shower was wonderful. Kitchen had everything needed included plastic cups and dishes for little people. The walk is so short to the beautiful beach and we were there daily. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone interested in this cute quaint home. Rich was quick to answer any questions we had and was very helpful. I look forward to returning here again.

Clean and Comfortable

This is a perfectly quaint, comfortable and clean rental 2nd row from the beach. My girlfriend, dog and I and had a great time being so close to a public beach access (200ft walk across the street). Place was well stocked and location was great as it was close to restaurants and night time family fun. Would highly recommend, owners are very nice and communication was great! Would book again if/when coming to Carolina Beach

Location, location!

Found this gem that is just a “Stone’s Throw” from the beach! Loved the back yardđŸ€— We did not see a grill listed under the amenities, so we brought out little portable one. Not needed! There was a nice size grill with a picnic table. They thought of everything you could possibly need. Rich was super quick to respond with our questions. We will certainly be back again!

We really enjoyed our stay because the home had a nice layout and was tastefully decorated with nice furnishings. The owners took care to provide all you need in this sweet beach house. The patio in front and the small yard in back provides more space to enjoy the ocean breeze.

Can't beat the location!

We had the best time at Stone's Throw for our annual Carolina Beach trip. The space was perfect for our needs - it had all the basics and then some. While the square footage may be small, it doesn't feel small or cramped at all once you're inside as they have made a great use of the space. Best of all was the location, so close to the beach and our favorite - the Tiki Bar! We have stayed at multiple rentals at Carolina Beach and this one has officially secured our #1 spot. We can't wait to come back and stay again next year.

Stones Throw is true!

Location! Across the street from the beach! Inside was updated and very tastefully decorated. It was the perfect location for my husband and I for a long weekend. In addition Rich was very responsive to questions. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful Weekend

The home was perfect for the long weekend, my best friend and I had plenty of room to relax, and it was a quick walk across the street to the beach! The house itself is quaint, modern, and well kept, so cute and perfect for a trip to the beach. I extremely enjoyed my stay, and will definitely be booking again!

Super relaxing stay!

We stayed at Stone’s Throw on the tail end of a 10 day trip. The location was incredible (a 3 minute walk to the beach) and the property was even better. We had full use of the lower level of the house, including a living room, full sized kitchen, bedroom, bathroom and laundry facility. The home is exactly as depicted in the picture: super cute, clean and “beachy inspired decor”. Also, I don’t know what the prior reviewer was complaining about. I have a bad back and I found the bed and pillows to be extremely comfortable. All in all, we had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend staying here. We didn’t get to meet our host, Rich, but he was extremely communicative and very accommodating.

Clean but lacks comfort

I’ll start with the good: the place was clean, which is the baseline for a stay anywhere. The neutral: the bed is very firm. Many people view that as a positive, but if you’re a side sleeper like me, it’s not going to be a comfortable night for you. The bad: the separation between the 2 units are paper thin. You can hear EVERY SINGLE STEP from the people upstairs. This is not pleasant when you are the earlier to bed of the two. The bedroom also desperately needs curtains to block light and for privacy.

Great location and spotless

My granddaughter and I went to Carolina Beach and stayed at this wonderful spot. Her reaction on walking in was “cool”. It was very clean and updated. Also it was a short walk to the beach. You can also walk to restaurants and bar. Great front porch area for relaxing. I really enjoyed our short stay!! She did not want to leave

Loved this place!

This place was perfect! Great location! Right next to the beach. Beautiful atmosphere, shops and restaurants very close to the property. Unit was very clean and had everything we needed easily available. Surrounding area was very pretty. Would highly recommend!
