Spend your next vacation at "The Dolphin House," our beautiful 4 bedroom/3 bathroom home, while enjoying the Gulf of Mexico as your backyard! Pontoon Boat On-Site! Available for Rent

You will enjoy daily visits from dolphins, sting rays, and the occasional manatee. The private dock is the perfect place to fish or park your boat if you choose to bring one. There is a jacuzzi, a swimming pool, two large screened in areas overlooking the water, as well as multiple private docks for boating. This house is a fully furnished home with an upstairs and downstairs living room, a pool table, and bar. The entire space can sleep up to 10 people with three king beds, one queen, and a pull-out Murphy bed. The area is perfect for kayaking, scalloping, fishing (fish poles and tackle box ready to use), and sitting by the pool, soaking up the Florida sunshine!

Whether you're looking for a large space for your next scalloping trip or family get together or a more relaxing escape with nothing more on the agenda than sipping cocktails in the pool while watching the sun disappear into the Gulf, this is the perfect spot for you!

** This home is not suitable for those with mobility issues. The upstairs living area with kitchen is only accessible by exterior stairs.
**There is no interior staircase to connect the bottom rec room floor with the upper living area floor
**The garage is for owner use and storage only and not available to renters during stay. ** During Hurricane Season we encourage our guests to have traveler’s insurance

This vacation rental was equipped with just about anything you could need. Plenty of room for our family of 6 adults, between the game room downstairs, multiple docks to fish off of, kayaks to explore the canals, lounge furniture, bonfire with seating, and more, we did not fall short of things to do. The kitchen had just about any appliance you could need. The only thing that was different was the only set of stairs to access the main floor and the lower level was the spiral stairs outside. Great place to stay and enjoyed our time.

We had a much needed family vacation. The location of this property is amazing. We woke up every morning to dolphins and manatees swimming right by the dock. We rented the pontoon boat and had fun fishing and cruising around. The hosts were very helpful and made my first VRBO stay very easy.

Awesome kitchen has anything you need to cook. Once we got in contact with Dave, contact with the host was great. Dock with pontoon boat rental available and kayaks at the house was a great perk of the house. The house has great water pressure for showers. Private pool and spa was very nice. Cons are no house number on the house, more wash cloths are needed, update contact host on VRBO, no inside stairs only the lift in the house (spiral stairs outside).

PERFECT for our family gathering to celebrate a special birthday. I have never been to a VRBO with so many extras (games, pool toys, videos, pool table, poker table, KAYAKS, kitchen supplies galore even a waffle maker! Oh and chilled mugs in the freezer!!!!...) and so much to do. Not once was the TV on!!! But the best part was the view and all the dolphins that we saw! Rented the pontoon boat and went to the flats for a great day of fun. Ashley and David only a phone call away and ALWAYS helpful. This rental is a real gem and a great value!

Everything about this house was perfect. We had 8 adults and had plenty of room for everyone. The pool was the perfect size and very relaxing. We fished off the dock and caught plenty of fish and crab. We rented the pontoon and went to the flats which was a ton of fun with the bands out there. Communication with the host was perfect everytime I texted I got an immediate reply and even talked with them on the phone a few times. I will be renting from them again. Perfect location for all the local restaurants also

Let me just say the only thing nicer than the home, view and atmosphere is the hosts. Awesome folks and so understanding of issues that may arise. Very accommodating and responsive to any and all messages. The home was open and very clean when we arrived. We had absolutley no issues to speak of. Weather wasn't always cooperative during our stay but we're from Florida so pretty used to it. The pool, hot tub dock and fishing areas were well maintained and we used them all the whole time there. Onsite pontoon rental a plus, easy no nonsense rental with easy access to the Gulf. We will definitely be back. Thanks David & Ashley for being so great during the whole process!

Great vacation

There was plenty of room for our large family group. The kids and young adults enjoyed the downstairs with 2 beds and game room while us older adults enjoyed the 3 bedrooms upstairs. We swam in the pool everyday and drove to the beach and kayaking where we saw multiple manatees. The owners were very helpful with questions and always quick to respond.

Relaxing Getaway

The property itself is great. The outside area is phenomenal, much better than the pictures show. It has a cooks kitchen, if cooking on vacation is your thing.We had issues with the air conditioning and am not at all satisfied with the way it was handled. We let them know just after noon on Sunday that there was an issue where the living room/ two bedroom area was reaching extreme indoor temperatures. At one point it maxed at at 82 degrees. He did have a window unit delivered, and my son installed, Monday night st 9 PM and the repairman came and fixed it late Tuesday. So almost half the trip had the upstairs at super warm temps. With the price we paid to stay here, I certainly expected more. With what we paid, just get someone there to get the problem fixed, prior to being almost halfway thru our trip. Also, we had to keep inquiring as to the status and I didn’t feel like we should have to do that. Simply communicate so we would know what was going on.Had we not had the AC issues, it would have been a much better experience. I understand that things happen, but you should tend to them quickly.

Spacious and relaxing

Quiet neighborhood, great for getting away and having some relaxation. Enough room and privacy for family gatherings. Recommend renting the pontoon to visit the flats; take a right straight into the channel and you won't miss it. Good local food; Lazy Lizard has great food and atmosphere. Host responded a couple days after our reservation but made sure we were good during our stay. Coffee makers could use some cleaning. Overall great stay.

Great location and house

We had a wonderful time here, the house was everything we expected. Owners helpful when we needed something. Loved watching the boats go by and just relax. Fire pit was an added bonus. definitely will go back!

Wonderful House with Dolphins & Manatees

We've stayed every year for the last 7 years. Best location with lots of space, right on the Gulf with a large dock and pool. We rented a pontoon delivered right to the dock and they picked it up at the end. Owners very responsive

Perfect getaway

Our stay at the Vrbo house in Hernando Beach was fantastic. The property features a dock where you can fish right off the back, making for an effortless and enjoyable fishing experience. We also loved the kayaking opportunities available, with easy access to calm and scenic waters that provided hours of exploration and fun. Relaxing Week

The house was amazing for our family of 8 adults. Plenty of room to spread out. The outside area was so relaxing. Beautiful water view and plenty of wildlife. We added the pontoon to our stay and loved taking the boat to the flats each day and canal cruising in the evenings. The area of Hernando Beach was easy to drive around in. No waits at restaurants and plenty of shopping close by. The host were easily accessible and timely with answering questions. We would love to visit again!

Paradise by the water

We had an amazing two weeks stay, the weather was lovely and the house was perfect for what we needed .Nothing was too much trouble for our host.we had a minor problem with the pool and was sorted immediately.We saw so much wildlife from the dock and fished most days.Renting the boat was an added extra but thoroughly worth the money. Looking forward to our next stay.Will definitely return.

Ashley and Dave were fabulous host. We had so much fun. Anything we could have needed was already there. The spot was beautiful and it made our vacation very memorable. Thinking about next year already.
