Everything was clean and well stocked for vacation travels! Had plenty of towels, dishes and blankets for everyone. Wifi was spotty, but we were so remote on the mountain, it's to be expected. The hot tub has an amazing view of mountains, stars, and way distant city! We even saw Rapid City's firework show from the distance over 4th of July!

We had a great time! The road to the place is a dirt road with some switchbacks, and a steep driveway getting to the house. I’m glad it didn’t rain, all wheel drive or 4 wheel drive is a must. The place was very nice, clean, we went into the hot tub every night, and had a fire one of the nights. I would recommend this place!

Quiet Getaway
Great location right in the heart of all the attractions of the Black Hills. Very quiet neighborhood and outstanding sunrise view. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Great views! Very clean!
Layout is great for 2-3 couples. Home had everything you could need & was very clean. The view is calming & gorgeous. Centrally located; you could head north one day and south the next and catch all the main attractions. Needles highway was our favorite. Enjoy!

Amazing Views; Great Outdoor Fanatics Location
We really enjoyed this home on the mountains! It was perfectly located about 30 minutes to all the South Dakota attractions! We loved the home, it was cozy, clean, and well furnished! The views amazing!! We also did one of the ATV tours they offer which was so fun!

Birthday celebration
We enjoyed our stay at the Bercher. The views were amazing as we had our morning coffee on the deck. At night we enjoyed sitting outside by the fire pit.

Beautiful Views
This house was a great place for our weekend getaway. The views were beautiful. We had some miscommunication on parking, but it was resolved quickly. I would highly recommend this house for a great stay.

Cool mountain house
Super nice views and plenty of room. Since it is on a mountain/forest though some of the roads are steep and made of gravel - be prepared!

Good house for short stay. Just know its at the top of a mountain. Steep driveway.

Gorgeous view
Although as advertised the driveway is steep, we were able to navigate it with our Toyota Prius. The pictures do not do the views from the property justice! This home was absolutely wonderful for our vacation! Peaceful, relaxing, private. Loved our stay! Absolutely recommend!

This property and others that we manage on Edelweiss Mountain are in a secluded area which gives you a chance to unwind from a day of sight seeing. The quite area will allow you to see wildlife and see the stars above at night. We love living here. This cabin is owned by residents of South Dakota who love the Black Hills. We expect that anyone renting our cabin will treat it with care as well as respect the furnishings in the home. We are very respectful members of the Edelweiss Mountain homeowners association. We only want renters who will also hold high regard for the beauty and serenity of our hidden little community.
We invite you to spend your next vacation at our cabin. Whether it's for a week or a few days . Our cabin offers some of the most breathtaking scenery and relaxing atmosphere found anywhere.
If you want to be in a city environment this home is not for you. There are no food deliveries or close towns. The closest grocery store or place to eat is 15 miles.
