Hi Jodee, It is your right to review our property and it is our right to response to your falsehood accusation. Let's start with the "CAMERAS" as what you said. We do have 1 (SINGLE) camera in the living room that is always unplugged whenever I have people renting our Cabin#1. This camera (singular) only used by us during winter time whenever there are NO PEOPLE renting our cabin and I have to be in MA. This helps me protect our property for unexpected temperature drop inside the cabin due to a power outage that sometimes last 3 days depending on the weather. Second the Pond, well Miss. Jodee it is nature I don't have the right to change the whole Pond and tell those living creature in the Pond to adjust because I have people like you who doesn't have respect. It is also mentioned on our listing that if sandy shore you are looking we have the public beach maintained by our community organization 5 mins walk from our property. Third the dock. I am sure our dock is pretty stable it is old but sure sturdy. Just a little information docks are supposed to be floating in the water and if you move it, it moves normally and if you go crazy with it then it becomes unstable. Fifth hottub, I am sure our hot tub is crystal clear and clean because I change water every single renter we have for sanitation purposes. It can be set to 104 but sometimes the temperature gets to 105-106 in a hot day. If more than 3 days are your stay I come up or our maintenance guy adjust the chemicals for you but you only booked 3 nights as I recall. When I started cleaning our hottub all I see on the filter was furs of your pets. Now pets are fine I dont have problem with that but pets cant be on the hottub it is says on our white folder if you read that. Fifth YES we are PET friendly but subject to a pet fee it is common in every rental property. It is also specific in our listing if you want to check it again. Our policy is 1 to 2 dogs under 30lbs for $50 as a matter of fact I have people asked me and rented our property with more than 3 larger dogs I allowed it because I have the love for dogs and I appreciate these people asking me if they can bring more than 2 and also bring larger dogs, in other hand you brought 5 large dogs without paying the $50 pet fee. Our renter at Cabin#2 said they are unleashed by the dock and can't go near because your dogs are charging them. Sixth before you successfully booked the place VRBO will show you the PDF Rental agreement from our camp. You have the option to refuse and accept that rental agreement for you to fully booked the place. In my part a week or 3 days before your check in date I send and important information about the camp including the rental agreement, General information and instruction of how to get to our cabin id GPS is not working. So you can't say VRBO and I did not mention our rental agreement. Seventh, I know our property and nobody told them to go near the cabin#1 except if they need an access to the dock. Lastly, I message you before I reported the incident to VRBO. I asked you if you can explain the complaints we had from Cabin#2 and our nearby neighbors woking up at 1 am in the morning because of your loud music. Complaints from cabin#2 with pictures that after you and yourfriends had party you left your cups and trash by the dock for other people to see. It is not my fault that you guys doesn't have respect in other people and someone else's property but because I am a responsible person I took responsibility and apologized to our neighbors and our renter from cabin#2 from all troubles you caused then decided to refund them a day of their stay. You and your friends destroyed our bedframe in one of the bedroom that resulting me of $275 bedframe and a cancelling the next renter that we have and apologized for the inconvenienced of the situation. I gave you chance to explain everything and hear your side but I didn't get a reply from you, I know you would write something bad about my property on this website because I reported you and the damages you caused to my property to VRBO. You should be thankful after you and your friends trashed and the destructions you did to my property I refunded you your security deposit of $250 via Venmo. This is my side and if VRBO asked for proof I have videos and pictures from our renter of Cabin#2 that I'll be happy to share with. She said she will also testify if I need one. Godbless! -Anntoneth
