Disappointing
We will would like to offer some constructive feedback on the unit.
1. The teflon skillet and spatula need to be replaced because the teflon is coming off in the pan and the spatula looks like it has been melted. Both are a health hazard.
2. The cabinet to the right of microwave is coming off its hinges and needs tightened.
3. The vent by the furnace is filthy and is caked with dust.
4. The lid to the garbage can is filthy.
5. There are numerous holes in the walls throughout the unit.
6. The bedroom door doesn’t lock. We like to sleep with the bedroom door locked even when we are the only two in the unit.
7. The washcloth policy is ludicrous. One wash cloth for 5 days is unsanitary. A new washcloth should be used every day because fungus and bacteria builds up. When I asked for more washclothes, the host wanted to invoice me $60. I was told: "We are not a hotel with in house laundry and a front desk that can run you up an extra set." Why not leave enough towels from the beginning?

I think the statement "We like to sleep with the bedroom door locked even when we are the only two in the unit" pretty much sums up the problem here.... but to offer some clarity to future guests-
We include 2 towles, 2 washcloths, a hand towel and a kitchen towel with every reservation (bedding as well but that's not what is being called out here). We use a commercial laundry service that washes at very high temperatures (180 - 190) to kill any bacteria or germs. This is very expensive but ensures that out guests get the very best. This group requested 6 additional sets of towels and washcloths and I did let her know that there would be an additional cost (just our cost passed through). She proceeded to damage the unit (described above) as retribution for not getting the towels??
Thankfully we have a great maintenance team who got the unit back into tip top shape and ready for the next guest!!
