The Pines Ranch is 2233sf and sits on a private 4+ acre wooded property in the Colorado Springs Black Forest area. It's close to restaurants, shopping, and fairly close to tourist attractions. The living room has a TV, fireplace and fast wifi. The large garden level basement features foosball, air hockey, a bar, and 98 inch TV. In the backyard, enjoy a 6-person hot tub, propane fire pit, dining, a herd of deer that frequent the property and in Spring, a fox and kits playing.

The house is fully furnished and each room is unique. It features 1 King, 3 Queens, 2 Twins, and 2 Full-Size folding mattresses. There' is a portable air conditioner in the family room and primary bedroom (during the Summer months) and overhead fans in the bedrooms to keep it comfortable. The private property is huge and you will not have to share it with anyone else! You are in Colorado Springs (minutes from restaurants and stores), but the peaceful forest makes you feel far from the city.

You may notice that the cleaning fee we charge is lower than similar listings. We don't make money on fees; in fact, we lose money on every cleaning because we pay our cleaners more than we charge. As owners who also manage, we are proud of our house so we inspect and sign off on every cleaning before you arrive. Our crew averages 8 man hours on every cleaning. The spa is serviced and sanitized between every booking. Everything is sterilized, including appliances, door knobs, sinks, toilets, showers, tables and countertops. Carpets are vacuumed and hardwood floors are mopped. All bedding and pillows are washed. We believe this focus on cleanliness is what separates us from hotels and other listings.

Please note that, while we provide a highchair 2 pack n plays, a baby gate, and toys, this space has not been child-proofed. The 4-acre yard is not mowed or manicured so wildlife can thrive. And there is an outdoor security camera above the garage facing the driveway. We are animal lovers, but very allergic so we have a strict no pet policy and appreciate your understanding. This also keeps the ranch sparkling.

This house was awesome, beautiful views from the front porch and back porch, lots of items provided by the host (thanks Travis!) and it was so clean. Plus we had some visitors….a couple of deer and a fox! The next time we need a rental in that area we will definitely rent this house again!

This home was perfectly located for a family wedding in the area. Travis and Kristin were super responsive in their communication. Bonus was the doe and her two fawn's keeping cool under the trees on the property.

This property & host were exceptional and well worth the money. Unbelievably well-stocked. Very easy access and within minutes of all that we wanted or needed yet seemed very remote and in the middle of nature. This is the kind of place to rent to stay “home” and just relax! If you want to spend money on touristy stuff and places then get in the middle of them! If you want a true vacation with hours of relaxation, then this is the place for you! Travis is a true host!

We absolutely loved our stay in the cabin! We came for a family vacation and booked this property for the country living and it did not disappoint! It was super clean, fully stocked (cooking utensils, towels for hot tub, toys for kids and even had some snacks), had plenty of space (4 adults 4 kids) and was just all around a great place to stay! Our last morning here it even snowed!! We will absolutely be back!

We had such a lovely stay here while hosting family in town for graduation. The house was spotless, peaceful, and had plenty of room for everyone to be together comfortably. We really loved the quiet Black Forest setting — seeing deer and a fox around the property made it feel extra special, and it was so nice to be away from city noise while still being close enough to town for anything we needed.The hot tub was a huge plus, and the kitchen was incredibly well stocked for cooking family meals together. Overall, it felt warm, relaxing, and easy from start to finish. Would definitely stay again.

Comfortable home and beds. My son appreciated the snacks. My husband appreciated the coffee pods. I would have given 5 stars except the kitchen was lacking in basics. No pepper, no aluminum foil, no syran wrap, no olive oil. I guess there is now as we had to buy it all and left it, along with napkins, baking soda, baking powder, ziplock bags. A full set of measuring cups and spoons would be helpful as well.

Family Vacation

We stayed for 4 days and had a great experience. We had issues with the oven rhe first night and the host had a solution for us the next day and was very communicative throughout the whole process. Fun in the Forest

We rented this house for a young family with their grandmothers and everyone enjoyed and appreciated the layout of the house and all the furnishings. The toys and play things in the basement were very appreciated.

Black Forest is one of the few areas in Colorado Springs that is wooded, which makes it so special. When you drive into it, you’ll feel as though you’re in a completely different area.

The Pines Ranch is unique in that you’re staying in a 4-acre, wooded lot that’s just for you. It’s so peaceful and comfortable.
Speaking of comfort, we have tried to think of everything you may need so you don’t have to. You’ll have a stocked kitchen and bathrooms. Just bring your clothes, swimsuit/trunks for the jacuzzi, and food (or place a Walmart delivery order or pickup from Target just 8 minutes away).
Also, there are great amenities so there’s something for everyone.
