Park View Place 4 Blocks From the World's Biggest

Park View Place is a cute, cozy, farmhouse style house 2 bedroom 1 bathroom 1 level with a small yard, multiple parking spaces in the front of the home with wheel chair access ramp to the front door. It is located in the small town of Casey, Illinois within 4 blocks of The World's Largest Things. The house is also located just across from the Fairview Park that has 2 fishing ponds stocked with Trout, a playground, a horse arena, camping area and ball fields. The neighborhood is very nice. There is a Ring Doorbell at the Front Door of the Property. We also offer a new 6 seater golf cart available for rent to our 3 houses on a first come first serve basis.

Every thing was close by. House is in a save neighborhood. Kids enjoyed having a park across the street. Very comfortable little cottage.

everything was jus as advertised. owner was very good to communicate with . answered promptly. The Frontier WiFi was not good . Tv was off more than on , but overall very good stay

Great location, very clean, and the host was extremely helpful. It was nice to have the option to rent a golfcart. We enjoyed using it around town and at the park. This was my second time to stay in this house and I will probably use it again.

Our family spent the day in town and then enjoyed a nice evening watching a movie, before we dropped off our son at EIU. The stay was everything that a we needed and more.

Great Stay

Our stay here was wonderful. It was great to be so close to town, we could walk to the attractions. The park across the street was great for our kids. They also enjoyed fishing there. We would recommend this place to anyone visiting.

Wonderful Property

My 83-year-old Aunt and I were in the area to see a show in Effingham. This property in Casey was a perfect place to stay. We were able to find most of the Biggest things and enjoy some great restaurants. Lisa was a wonderful host and her property does not disappoint!

Candy Canes Girls Trip

The house was perfect for my friends and I, a total of 5 girls. The location was close to all of the big things and right across from the amazing park. The property had everything we needed! We are already talking about getting it again next year for the same weekend! The town had an adorable festival called candy canes on main and we all loved it! The owner was great with instructions checking in and checking out!

Great trip to a small town

House was as nice as the pictures looked. Quiet area. Very comfortable beds. Would stay here again. We would prefer the TV not be up so high.

A very fine place with a park view

Lovely place with the Park across the road, which is beautiful as well. Kitchen is smallish but just right for the two of us and it had all the items we needed for a stay. Bath was nicely done and well lit. We slept in the main bedroom and got along with the too tall bed (we are both 5ft 6in) so getting ourselves without a step was a problem, but we made due. Only real complaint would be the utility closet near the dining table. When the A/C came on during meals you may as well wait to carry on a conversation. But it doesn't run often and so we were fine with it. Owner was very helpful via the VRBO app (texts). So a very nice stay for our 44th anniversary in a nifty small town. If you are considering it, just stay here at this place. It's a keeper.
