Either apartment can be reserved separately, or both can be shared by a group of guests. The property is located in a quiet and picturesque region that is close to many attractions in southern Chester County.

Great place to stay

Overall we really enjoyed ourselves and the area. This was a great choice for a place to stay. Slight hiccup with the check-in but Henry fixed the issue very quickly and everything was great!

Beautiful peaceful retreat

We came for our daughter’s graduation from UDel and even though it was a little far out of town it was the perfect getaway to chill out between events. Host were great and place was clean and very nicely appointed. We would definitely recommend and return! Goats were so fun to interact with!

Beautiful and quaint cottage

Exceptionally peaceful location, situated on a very scenic farmstead. This well appointed and wonderfully decorated cottage had everything we needed for a great 2 day stay. The owners were especially accommodating and friendly. We will stay here again soon.

Delightful in every way

Comfortably furnished with thoughtful details and an artistic eye.... the entry way is its own self-contained little art gallery. Idyllic countryside setting, complete with goats, chickens, a pony, and of course - nesting swallows. We were sad to leave, and hope to visit again. Highly recommend if you are looking for a peaceful and rejuvenating getaway.

Country Charm

Picture perfect setting close to Longwood Gardens and Winterthur. Beautiful property, cozy place to stay that was beautifully decorated, very comfortable. We would definitely stay there in the future and recommend to our friends and family. Henry, the host, was very responsive and could not have been nicer.

Great place close to gardens and hiking

This is a wonderful place to stay. It's clean, comfortable and located in a nice rural setting. The owner is a great resource for finding all the best local hiking trails. It's conveniently located to visit both Longwood Gardens and Mt. Cuba Center. Highly recommend.

Idyllic

We've stayed at Swallow's Rest often and it never fails to charm us all over again. It's well situated but feels like the country with the farm smells, the rolling grass. Everything we need is included in the place. And we like the host a lot.

Charming Countryside Stay

We have stayed at Swallow’s Nest twice and both times we’ve had excellent experiences. The moment you you park and enter the property, you can feel any stress melt away. Very close to many good restaurants and historic attractions. You’ll enjoy your stay!
