"Our family had an absolutely stunning Christmas stay at this hilltop cabin! We chose this home for our annual holiday trip and to celebrate my mother-in-law’s birthday, and it couldn't have been more perfect. The host’s attention to detail is unmatched—from the handwritten note and Irish cream to the heated walkway leading to the hot tub (complete with towels and blankets right by the door!). The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed, and the beds were incredibly comfortable for all of us. It truly felt like a home away from home. We didn't leave the property except to run to grab a few groceries we forgot. We made some of the best memories and made so many delicious meals we enjoyed using the Blackstone as well. We can't recommend this place enough!"

The log home is gorgeous! It was so social to stay here near Christmas time everything was decorated and it felt like we were in a Hallmark Christmas movie for a week. Fireplace, baking cookies, doing a puzzle and relaxing. We didn’t want for anything she has provided absolutely anything one could possibly need. Was THE BEST experience I’ve ever had with a VRBO or AB&B. Thank you Kelli!

Kelli, the host, had so many personal touches!!! Chocolates by each bed, a bottle of wine, various k cups, and fresh flowers!! Everything was so clean and well maintained. Perfect for our annual girls weekend. We WILL be back!

Everything here is perfect! Beautifully decorated, cozy, warm and roomy. Meticulous clean. Hot tub was relaxing and overlooks a beautiful landscape and the quaint town of Indendence. There's a Dollar General right down the road in case you forgot something. There is also a great antique shop in town, too. Kitchen fully stocked with literally everything you need to spend the weekend here. The Blackstone grill is very handy for burgers for dinner and scrambled eggs and french toast for breakfast. If you are still reading this just book it already. You won't regret it. Kelli is a top notch host! This place is incredibly welcoming! We'll definitely be back.

The house was a great space for our annual friends weekend. Our group of 8 friends had a wonderful stay. The basement bar area was a great hangout space and the hot tub was a fun added bonus. The only issue we had were the wasps in the outside deck and patio area. They were everywhere which made it hard to hang out outside for too long. This was likely due to the time of year we visited, though. We look forward to returning to this house!

The home is beautiful, very clean and had all the amenities one could have wanted/needed. The owners were very quick to answer questions we had. Hot tub was amazing, it had a radio with Bluetooth hook-up and was nice and hot. We had a little trouble getting the LP firepit lit but once we knew you just had to hold the button in longer than expected it worked perfect. We were already talking about booking again next year!

Wow. Just wow. Incredible place. This host knows hospitality. So many thoughtful touches. All of the amenities you could think of and more. The property was very clean with comfortable beds, fully stocked bathrooms and kitchen. Easy check-in and checkout. Great communication with our host, Kelli. The hot tub was fantastic. This is one of the best properties our group has rented in more than 25 years of annual girls’ weekends. 10 out of 10 all the way around! Great place for the cost! We’ll be back!

We had such a wonderful time at the Rosewood Lodge! The property is absolutely stunning with the most thoughtful hosting details and touches throughout the home. The thoughtfully stocked kitchen was a highlight! We had such a pleasant experience from our first to final exchanges with the property owners. The property is very clean and we appreciated the notes of sanitization measures upon our arrival. This property is an absolute dream home and was such a special place for us to spend time as a family. The 12 person hot tub in the absolutely stunning, perfectly manicured backyard put an exclamation point on our stay. We plan to return in the future!

Outstanding Property!

This is a beautiful property! This is the nicest VRBO property I have ever stayed at. Everything about it is quality-quality home, quality decor, quality landscaping, quality beds-everything was perfect. The property is located in a beautiful and quiet cul-de-sac which allowed for a very peaceful stay. The inside of the home is beautiful and comfortable, There is a large and very private deck and well-designed patio in the back of the property which served as a perfect evening hangout for our group. Kelli was an excellent host, communicated very well, and even left little welcome gifts for us to find upon arrival. She was great to deal with. This property suited our group perfectly and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a top-notch place to stay as well as a top-notch rental experience!!

Hi, My name is Kelli Brandenburg - Brave and my husband is Mark. I have been a Flight Attendant for 36 years and work for Delta Airlines. So, YES! I love to travel and have been all over the world but still yearn to see more. Mark and I enjoy horseback riding and have 10 horses, 5 cats plus many barn cats. We are strong community minded people and enjoy participating in community groups and helping others.

The ROSEWOOD LODGE is named after the street which was named after my deceased mother, ROSE. I designed this log home back in 2000 and it is accented with many items from my travels. I truly LOVE this home and hope you will too. Please enjoy this very special place.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

Each room has a basic theme. The logs are 11 inch northern white pine. The log design is Swedish cope. Most of the furniture was custom made by a local Amish man. Many of the rugs I brought back from INDIA. The carved bears were created by a wood carver in northern WI. and he used one single 100 year old willow tree. The kitchen cabinets are maple and specially designed. Wishing you a wonderful stay.
