Spacious home with a large kitchen, dining room and living room. Laundry room is conveniently located in the front entry. Patio door off the living room leads to a large deck with patio furniture. Upstairs has a large bedroom with three beds and a walk in closet. Country living close to all the action without the noise.

This was a wonderful find among all of the properties in the Lakes region. It was out in the country and so quiet and peaceful. We were greeted by the owners’ kitties when we got there and as we were leaving. We had a chance to meet the owner and found him to be so friendly and welcoming. The property was very clean and comfortable. We will definitely remember it and hopefully use it again.

Great VRBO and host

A friend and I stayed here for a fishing tournament and there was plenty of parking / plug ins and the house was very nice and clean. William (host) was very helpful and even gave us an extension cord to use as we forgot to bring one.

Quiet home away from home

Property and location checked all the boxes!

Very comfortable house for four adults. House and property was well maintained and we loved the location. We never knew Iowa had so much to offer. We would love to come back again!

Deer, turkeys, pheasants, and fish!!

Wildlife abounds in the area and the fishing in Spitit lake region is filled with variety as well. A great place to stay and enjoy it all.

Boat Friendly Place to Stay

Four sisters' trip

This was a great place to stay in the country for a trip with my sisters, especially since we prefer the country over the city. It was like we were right at home with pretty much everything and anything we needed. Will was very accommodating in so many ways including sending us information before our stay of things to do and places to eat in the area and bringing us his own grill to use when we asked if there was one available. We enjoyed our conversations with Will. We wish we could gave met his wife. I definitely recommend this country home as a place to stay.

Birthday getaway

For my birthday this year I told my husband I wanted to get away and really just spend time the two of us. I didn’t want anyone else around or stay in a hotel. This place was perfect. My husband likes to fish so he brought his kayak and the lakes were about a 10-15 min drive away. Obviously Spirit lake/okoboji aren’t to far away either. We browsed Arnold’s Park a little bit then spent the evening back at the house. It was a perfect birthday.

It’s in a perfect location if you prefer quiet and relaxation while being a few minutes drive away from the action. Nice sized house, included everything you need plus more. Very clean. Very impressive!

Peaceful and close to South Dakota and Iowa

I haven't been back to Minnesota in over 20 years and I felt at home. It was very peaceful and lush with greenery. It was about 20 minutes to get to Iowa and 40 minutes to get to South Dakota. Very convenient if you want to venture out. The host was very kind and we couldn't have rented a better place.

Quiet country home.

This country home is very comfortable. We really enjoyed sitting out on the deck in the mornings and evenings where it was so much cooler than the weather we have in south central Texas. We highly recommend it for a quiet country getaway.
