The property was clean, spacious, and had a small yard and a great view of the castle walls - both were a bonus. Check in was seamless. We enjoyed our stay.

The property was wonderful. It was very comfortable and clean. The location couldn’t have been better to take in the walled city and castle. The local shops were easy to access and the proprietors friendly a d engaging. Anyone looking to experience Carcassonne should consider this location for their accommodations.

Very clean and spacious property with a well equipped kitchen. Great location for the castle and easy walking distance to the bars and restaurants. Needed to use the fan that was supplied as the air conditioning wasn’t that effective.

House was perfectly situated to visit the Carcassone medieval city and the city of Carcassone. Both places had an entirely different vibe and it was excellent to be able to walk to everywhere. The house was great and yes when sitting in the back yard, you have an incredible view of the castle. Carole's communication was excellent and answered a lot of our questions that helped us organize our trip. I highly recommend Anyone staying in Carcassone to book here.

The bungalow is in a perfect location between La Cite and the Bastide, and it is all very walkable. The view is better than in the pictures! The property is clean and the perfect size for 4 people and is stylish and airy. The kitchen is well-stocked with a few essentials to get you started, including oil, salt and a few seasonings. The very thoughtful sofa cover came in good use as we were travelling with our two little boys, and saved the sofa from any stains! The only thing I think that could be improved are the bed pillows- there are only four small/flat pillows and so a couple extra in the cupboard would be brilliant. Overall we had a lovely stay.

Wonderful location and amenities

It was excellent to look out into the backyard with the castle of Carcassonne above. The home is very well maintained. There isn't a clothes washer/dryer, but the laundromat is efficient and only a short walk from the place.

Amazing

We couldn't have found a better place! The house was clean and spotless, the beds comfortable, and the view from the back was absolutely breathtaking!! The kitchen was well equipped with a full-sized refrigerator and new appliances. Easy access to the property and having a parking space in front of the house was very welcomed. It was a short walk to the citadel, as the property was practically at the base of the citadel. We highly recommend this property.

Fabulous little house in perfect location

We were very happy during our stay this wonderful 2 bedroom house. We were able to park on the driveway and there was plenty of room to bring our bikes inside the property. The garden was lovely, made even more special by the unique view of the castle which was only a short walk away. It was super-hot during our stay so the air-con was very much appreciated. My husband’s one critique was that the shower over bath was very basic but other than that there was good WiFi, comfortable furniture, a fully equipped kitchen and Carole was a perfect host. I would have loved to live there myself!

Just like the photo

We so enjoyed our evening in the garden sipping wine while viewing the beautiful walled city and castle! We visited the walled city, had a wonderful meal and were within 5-10 minute walk. House was beautiful and so clean with a very well stocked kitchen. Wished we could have stayed longer and already discussing our return. We so appreciated the key lockbox, very easy, no apps required. Small store and bakery 2 minutes from house. Highly recommend this VRBO! Thank you for sharing your lovely home and garden!

We liked these accommodations a lot. They had good proximity to both the Cité and the downtown areas. The apartment is beautiful and well furnished. The city recently changed the direction of several streets near the apartment (Google does not yet have the updates), but Carole gave us good directions. If we return, we would stay there again.
